@LanceTHESPOKEN Peter Woods and Tonga will provide a lot of help in the run and pass game...I think they did a pretty good job not addressing it directly with their normal prototypes

The Chiefs biggest need BY FAR this offseason was edge rush. We’re in the middle of May and all they’ve added at edge is a 2nd round rookie. Not good. Yes, I’d love to see Cam Jordan in a Chiefs jersey and I think there’s a real chance he is. But say that out loud, the Chiefs NEED a 37 year old pass rusher to give them any real upgrade at their biggest area of need. Relying on a player who’s a senior citizen in football years is less than ideal.

I’m very concerned about having a 70 pick gap between 40 and 109. They need a guy who can theoretically start at WR and EDGE but only have one pick left that you can say could fill it. EDGE group left on the board is very nice. I could see them taking one at 40 then just spraying on pass catchers (WR and TEs) on Day 3.

Guessing rn for Thurs-Friday for the Chiefs: - BPA early (probably DE or WR) - small trade up later in R1 to land an OT before the cliff - WR/DB for day 2; DB is far deeper so go WR first + not many WRs on day 2 factor in to be target earners

@Matty_KCSN Nice info Matt... Seems like pick 29 a nice spot for picking a RT imo, cause there's not a good WR there and pick #40 it's still good for a CB... Wich RT would you like at #29? Or you 100% out of RT on early rounds?

@JaidarPollo Not Chiefs specific but the Utah O is very, very different from the NFL in regards to help, run %, and TPS stuff. Lomu - true developmental OT, smooth mover but lacks urgency & violence in his movement Fano - just so narrow + short armed, hard to protect his chest AND edge

@JaidarPollo Yeah super physical CB that gets too handsy way too often. Think Spags/Merritt have had a lot of success w/ CBs with his strengths and weaknesses.

I’d agree … When I was drafted , they told me I’d be playing safety at first, but when I arrived I was thrown into the LB room as a ILB (a position I had never played in my career before) so it felt like I had to relearn the game of football and made me kinda doubt my own ability as a player at times. Coming from USC and having a revolving door of systems & HC’s didn’t help me develop as either a safety or a LB. I played 3-4 different positions at USC (and just happed to be good at em) but never really mastered one. By the time the league came, it felt like Washington was just spitballing what they’d want from me on a week to week basis. One week I’m a true ILB trying to get off double teams at 220 pounds and the next I’m playing basically playing safety and guarding WR’s, TE’s, and slots depending on the formation. I believe if it’s why I ended up dealing with so many injuries in my short NFL career. On top of the fact I ALMOST WENT BLIND from a concussion trying to play aggressive while being undersized. I never had issues with Jay in Washington. I liked him as a HC and trusted em enough to actually cry in his office in private like a baby, when I told em “Something doesn’t feel right with my eye !! I don’t feel the same , something’s off!!” After my concussion before the 2017 season. I have a ton of regrets when it comes to my football career. My biggest is not staying at USC for my senior year, learning how to really play ILB, and avoiding getting drafted by Washington all together. But I’m grateful for the opportunity and hope none of these kids in the future go through the same injuries I set through. And I am in no way offended by Jay’s words. He and I have always kept it 100% whether he liked or not and vice versa . It’s a mutual respect on a situation that didn’t work out in the end 🙏🏽 💯 #HTTR #FightOn

Former Redskins HC Jay Gruden says he didn’t want to draft S Su’a Cravens: “Su’a Cravens was one, we had a lot of different opinions on. I didn’t want the guy at all, you know, just because he didn’t fit. He wasn’t a safety, he played outside LB. We didn’t, you know, he’s too little, not because he wasn’t a good kid or a good player, just there’s nowhere to put him.”

@CoreyB08 @kerrrr22 Guess that makes Gronk a WR since he lined up in the slot more than Kelce It’s amazing how everything patriots fans say is just pure made up propaganda

Just a reminder one is a WR who they call a TE The other is the greatest TE that actually lined up more at TE than WR in their career Also one player was targeted at the knees constantly because it was the only way of humanly stopping him the other is a really good WR pretending to be a TE

@ArrowheadLive I Think this is the perfect scenario... Even trading 3rd to secure Bain at 1 Trading to secure McCoy at "29" and getting Bell at 2nd... It's ñerfect

My dream draft scenario is Bailey or Bain at 9 and Jermod McCoy slides far enough for the Chiefs to trade up for him from 29 and then take a WR(Chris Bell, Denzel Boston, Chris Brazzell to name a few) at 40. Alternatively, Bailey or Bain at 9, and Jordyn Tyson slides far enough for the Chiefs to trade up for him from 29, and then Colton Hood, Brandon Cisse, or Chris Johnson at 40.
