1/ Introduction Some of the most important proposals in Tesla’s history are up for voting in this year’s shareholder meeting. In this thread, I am exploring my thoughts on the proposals. In my opinion, proposals 3, 4, 6, 7, and 13 are the most important ones; if you read and engage with this, I would appreciate input on these proposals above all the others. I’ve written, re-written, and re-re-written my thoughts and how I present them. Covering all topics and exploring my thoughts in a succinct way is incredibly hard; the topics are all over the place and immensely complex. I would really appreciate your input. However, if you are not going to engage in good faith and with an open mind, please refrain from responding to anything – your takes are noise, and I’d rather keep the signal to noise ratio high. Thanks! This is not a thread that can be engaged with in a few minutes. It’s long and nuanced; engaging with it properly will probably require you to concentrate and reflect on what is being explored. If you do not want to put in the time, save your effort for something else; don’t start reading. If you do wish to engage with this, I appreciate you taking the time to do it properly. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Thank you!

It's just the expectation (or hope) of a single employee!! The employee could have been lying to get me to buy a Tesla for all I know 🙄. He was excited about the Tech and getting it approved in Spain, as are all of us, but again, it's just one persons interpretation of what their colleagues tell them (if anything). If they had privy information they cannot share it, so it's always going to be speculative.

@earcos Es bastante jarto.

The average diesel electric locomotive is 3-5 MW of power generation. Imagine a Starlink connected train data center. Permitting by the Federal Railroad Administration. Snowpiercer for AI. Grok @imagine did a great job.

@riktov @stephenbalaban @imagine avoiding permitting issues seems to be the idea. not subject to local zoning boards and planning commissions, DEPs, or NEPA AFAIK. Unlikely to be real, but a clever idea

@TeslaNewswire It's the employees' expectation, nothing is confirmed. "Spain is reportedly planning to approve Tesla FSD (Supervised) on June 30!" is not what I said.

🔥🇪🇸 Spain is reportedly planning to approve Tesla FSD (Supervised) on June 30! 🇪🇸 👀 The country has been testing the system since November with a small fleet of roughly 19 to 30 vehicles, covering at least 80,000 km (~50,000 miles) of driving.

Tesla is quietly building a huge autonomous driving dataset in Spain 🇪🇸 30 vehicles, 275,000+ km driven and ZERO serious incidents Authorization FVA-03/2025 under Spain’s ES-AV framework covers the entire national road network. Unlimited, any road, anywhere in the country No other player currently comes close to that scope Every other authorized operator in Spain is running 1-3 vehicles max on fixed, local routes Others: SAE Level 4 shuttles, buses, street sweepers are all restricted to specific cities or campuses Tesla is the only SAE Level 2 participant operating at national scale, which tells you everything about where DCAS/FSD Supervised actually sits in the European regulatory conversation What does 275k km of supervised FSD data across Spanish roads mean for the EU rollout? Probably nothing right?!? Just move along now

The argument that AI will steal jobs is rooted in the zero-sum game fallacy. This is what makes it despicable.

@p_ferragu AI will definitely make certain jobs obsolete, just based on comparative labor costs. It will particularly impact white-collar jobs. “Learn to weld” will become the new “Learn to code”.

Are you telling me Taxi drivers will find another job driving once cars are autonomous? Or that they will move to a different job? Maybe moving boxes... Wait, that will be automated too. Maybe sorting packages? Nevermind... Call center? Programming? Data analyst? Firefighter? Surgeon? As AI becomes smarter all jobs get automated. Maybe not fully, but still enough to put most people out of work. Total jobs probably go up, but they won't be done by humans for the most part.

@IncomeSharks @CheddarFlow @corgil I dont understand the comparisons for space X to OpenAI/Anthropic. Spcx had a 20 year head start on AI, a monopoly on satellites, rockets, energy, and they have Elon. Tryna compare valuations of these companies as apples to pickles
