Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.

Avery Jackson appeared on the cover of National Geographic at age 9 as a transgender child and was put on puberty blockers, described as the “gold standard” of "gender-affirming care".
Now, Avery has come out as nonbinary, is not pursuing transition, and identifies as asexual.
Avery has publicly said that transitioning “ruined my life.”
Puberty blockers, which are also used to chemically castrate sex offenders, have left Avery sterile and permanently unable to experience sexual attraction or orgasm—effects that are not reversible in children.
The former president of World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Dr. Marci Bowers, has acknowledged these consequences on camera.

Students aged 13-15 at Cardinal von Galen Gymnasium in Germany were tasked with modernizing a brothel to make it a "house of pleasure for everyone," including planning sexual services and skills needed to satisfy "all" customers.
The assignment, part of a "Sexual Education of Diversity" class, asked kids to consider different sexual preferences while working with a fixed floor plan.
Parents and even some students slammed the project as inappropriate, especially in a religious town.
The school has now pulled the material after the backlash.
