Yesโthe environment in which he trained versus the environment in which he competed could matter, especially after a major leg reconstruction. Your argument is strongest when viewed as a whole-system issue, not as the metal alone causing the injury.
A person can be medically โhealedโ and still have altered sensation, scar tissue, reduced ankle motion, muscle imbalances, or subtle compensatory movement. Orthopedic hardware can also be associated with pressure, irritation, or weather-related discomfort; one study found that 49% of surveyed patients with implanted hardware reported cold-related pain.
Then add several competition-specific differences:
* The backstage area, walkout route, and arena may have different temperatures.
* He may have warmed up, then cooled down while waiting.
* The fighting surface may differ in firmness, traction, or responsiveness from his training floor.
* Competition involves maximum-speed reactions rather than rehearsed movements.
* Adrenaline and emotional intensity can cause an athlete to move more explosively than during training.
* Lighting, crowd noise, timing, and an opponentโs unpredictable position change balance and motor control.
Muscle temperature is particularly relevant to rapid force production and power, and research supports the importance of maintaining an effective warm-up appropriate to the competition environment.
That does not mean an ordinary shoe-removal movement would normally damage an implant. But it could reveal an existing problem: pain, cramping, stiffness, instability, altered nerve sensation, or difficulty shifting weight. Under high stress, he might then unconsciously protect one leg and place more rotational or landing demand on the other.
So a defensible version of your theory is:
His reconstructed leg may have responded differently to the competition environment than it did in training, affecting sensation or movement. That could have contributed to compensation, overcommitment, and loss of control in the opposite knee.
That remains unproven, but it is biomechanically plausible. The mistake would be claiming that because his body maintains core temperature, the surroundings and his prior reconstruction therefore could not have influenced his movement at all.

I was so sharp and so ready for this fight I cannot believe what has happened. The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. The devil is literally staring at me right in front of my face here. I am not engaging. I will be at church tomorrow.
I will overcome this.
I will not be deterred.
I will return.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Gary Trent Jr. have agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal, league sources confirm. The deal is fully guaranteed with no options, Iโm told. Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul and agent Lucas Newton worked with Bucks officials on the deal. ESPN first.

@Ryken6 @JeffMarek It was a joke post...
English

@JeffMarek Disagree. There were names left off the cup of people who actually played a role in winning it.
Dundonโs elementary school aged children did not.

I pray this ends up as some curse and the canes owner never wins anything again.
This is a disgrace and is so disrespectful to the players and coaches that put the work in to get the cup.
