@KofiPhendiler @SAPoliceService @itsellagoodman We prefer spending our time making it unlivable for criminals such as illegal immigrants until they leave our country :)

#PoliceMinistry [ATTACKS AGAINST GHANAIAN NATIONALS AND OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS]
The Ministry of Police strongly condemns the recent xenophobic acts of violence and intimidation directed at Ghanaian nationals and other foreign nationals within the Republic of South Africa.
These actions are not only unlawful, but they stand in direct opposition to the values of dignity, equality, and human rights upon which our democracy is founded. South Africa is a constitutional state governed by the rule of law. No individual or group has the authority to take the law into their own hands, irrespective of grievances or frustrations.
The Ministry of Police wishes to advise the members of the public that acts of xenophobia, violence, looting, or intimidation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The #SAPS has been instructed to act decisively and without hesitation in addressing these incidents. All those found to be participating in, inciting, or supporting such criminal conduct will be identified, apprehended, and brought before the courts.
The Ministry of Police calls on all communities to remain calm and to reject any attempts to sow division and hatred among residents of our country. The Ministry further urges community leaders, civil society organisations, and all stakeholders to work together with law enforcement agencies to prevent further violence and to promote dialogue and understanding. #ProtestAction ME

I appeal to President @CyrilRamaphosa and the Minister of Police to urgently prioritise the disappearance of Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka, who was reported missing.
The family has raised concern that there has been little visible progress since the case was opened, and they are calling for urgent and serious attention from law enforcement.
No South African can simply disappear without a swift, thorough, and accountable investigation. We call on authorities to act urgently and for anyone with information to come forward to help bring him home.

So the Department Of Education @HigherEduGovZA only discovered a possible crisis because Parliament asked the question?
First they knew nothing, then they relied on the university to mark its own homework, and only after pressure from ATM will they now ask the actual regulators within 14 days. This reply raises more questions than answers.

Nobody told Netflix that South Africans were moving on… 👀
Streaming used to own 67% of SA's subscription wallet. Today? Just 11%.
So where's the money going?

43% of South Africans are now paying for AI tools — and that number nearly doubled in just one year. 🤯 We're not subscribing to chill anymore. We're subscribing to get things done (Productivity).
Do you think paying for AI tools make better sense than paying for movies?
