I just made miso soup for the first time. I put it in a little bowl my daughter painted. It was wonderful but I have to say the dashi stock packets are what really blew my mind. They are like little savory tea bags! Do these come in different flavors!? Thanks to all my Japanese friends who told me how to make this.

2024年から週3くらいで楊国福麻辣湯食べてたら、胃をかなり悪くして2025年4回も胃痛から40度近く熱出したから食べ過ぎ気をつけてほしい😭 私が元々胃が弱いのもあるけど、よーごふく食べた後消化器官が変になってまったく排便でなくなる事に2026年になって気づいた。

Wow! Lots of engagement lately especially with our Japanese friends. I’ll be honest, I took a long break from being active on X. Not posting, just quietly liking posts, etc. American X had just become a lot of rage bait, bots, and endless politics. So I didn’t want to interact much. But then the auto translation feature was rolled out and we started interacting with our friends in Japan and it was so refreshing. X became truly fun again and I have throughly enjoyed the mutual cultural exchange, warmth, jokes, and admiration shared by people on both sides. Japanese bros are just so enthusiastic, full of life and actually very funny. We are different but have a lot more in common than I think most of us realized. I hope we keep this up and bad actors don’t ruin it. I’ll try to keep up being more active and provide some value or entertainment where I can.

This is probably the most controversial Japanese post I’ve seen. If you have a problem with this and you eat cow or chicken, you need to reevaluate how you see things. We eat cow and chicken and pig because that is what it’s available to us. We have people in the United States that also eat deer and elk, and bison, and that’s okay. People need to live, and they have to eat, and it’s fine.
