Alex Pretti was pepper sprayed in the face for helping female protesters who were being assulted by Border Patrol, he was gang tackled to the ground, beaten, & murdered in cold blood. This photo shows the moment Border Patrol pepper sprayed Alex. Alex did not “incite” anything.

You know a thing about engineering chaos, don’t you, JD? You know a thing about engineering things in general. After all, your whole life is engineered. You’re a fake. A fraud. Isn’t that right, James Donald Bowman? Or is it James David Hamel? You have no core. No morals. No decency. You are a shell of a human who gloms onto whatever you think will get you ahead. A few years ago, you called Trump “Hitler.” Now you are his little collaborator. You will never wash the blood off your hands, JD. No matter how much you shape shift and try to shed this persona the moment you realize there’s nothing left in it for you.

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as brand new footage showing the moment a 37-year-old man was taken down by federal ice and border patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Officials say he was armed and legally carrying a firearm with a permit when the confrontation occurred. The red circle identifies the 37-year-old man who was taken down during the incident.

@TheAnfieldWrap The whole premier league is in transition, Liverpool are defending champions, spend nearly half a billion on players, and still manage to implode and sabotage what should be a period of complete dominance.

"This is either ineptitude or sheer fucking arrogance. This period was always going to come, you don't get to act surprised." "I don't think it's right that the people [at LFC] who are ultimately responsible for those decisions never speak about them in public."

@LFCLaurie Iraola is a giant killer and has performed nothing short of a miracle at Bournemouth. He’s the man for the Liverpool gig. Should have been considered after Klopp left.

The problem is if we do sack Slot, I honestly can't think of anyone I'd want to replace him. Klopp isn't coming back, Iraola got hammered by Villa and couldn't beat West Ham, Glasner seems short-term, Zidane isn't realistic, De Zerbi is a weirdo and Gerrard is just laughable.

It’s easy to be ruthless and take out Kerkez, Quansah etc. But can you be ruthless and take out Salah when it’s clear it’s not his day and he’s out of form like today?

@Livin_Liverpool Ego my friend. The guy's biggest weakness is competing with his teammates instead of rivals and making sure no one else shines as a scorer! Remember what he used to do to Mane back then🤦

@ShaunlfcT It was Klopps house and coattails that did the job. Dont forget too easy. Klopp delivered a promise so many couldn’t do before. The Baton is now dropped after 1 season

The more I see us play the more I wonder whether slot won us the league or whether it was just because Salah, VVD and Alisson had all timer seasons to carry us again

I know he scored today. But I honestly don’t know what Gakpo offers to this team. He’s absolutely awful He can’t pass, he runs in slow motion, and he gets tackled 80 times a game

@JamesBermingham @AskPaddyPower Started at 50/1 off the back of my query last night. Seems very long given the new LFC sporting director rated him enough to hire him only last summer. DeZerbi and Amorim understandable favourites, but 40/1 still seems generous to me.

@SiClancy Not Iraola for me. His teams play good football but he's got a bit of an akwardness to him. I dont see someone with his character being able to represent LFC. Amorim on the other hand seems to have something about him. Different energy.

@NoDarkSarkasm His Bournemouth side stuffed Man Utd 3-0 at Old Tafford in December’23. It Should have been more. That result alone, he will be considered for sure.

@KopAce74 100 %. Especially after his Bournemouth team won 3-0 at old Trafford in Dec’23. Not to be overlooked. I’d take the chance now that Alonso ruled out. Ljinders and the boot room as is, should be strongly considered

We’ve raided Bournemouth for Hughes and his favoured staff. I wonder if Andoni Iraola has made the shortlist on that basis….

Bit more on Liverpool's managerial search. Shortlisting using data began last year with several candidates looked at. Managers judged not just on whether they are football, strategic and personality fits, but based on the budgets and models they worked within and their man management skills. Attitude and involvement in recruitment seen as important. Xabi Alonso, Ruben Amorim, Roberto De Zerbi and Julian Nagelsmann all scored highly. Data used for legwork, but Liverpool always wanted to finalise structure before narrowing down the shortlist and interviewing. Appointing Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes has allowed them to move forward. And Hughes can lead the search to replace Jurgen Klopp despite not officially starting until June 1. Bournemouth comfortable with this. All parties transparent. Alonso was a leading choice, but Liverpool expect him to stay at Leverkusen. #LFC and Bayern both have the same intel. Bayern's honorary president Uli Hoeness said today it's "practically impossible" to get Alonso this summer. Alonso has a strong relationship with Leverkusen's leadership, including CEO Fernando Carro. Staying for another season, and leading Leverkusen in the #UCL always one strong possibility. It also opens the door to a Real Madrid move in summer 2025. #LFC calm about the situation and expect to finalise a new manager before the season ends, and in plenty of time. Search to replace Jurgen Klopp was never reliant on one candidate.🔴

I am in shock. Benjamin Zephaniah has died age 65. What a thoughtful, kind and caring man he was. The world has lost a poet, an intellectual and a cultural revolutionary. I have lost a great friend. RIP Benjamin.
