Tony Heller (@TonyClimate) is the very first person I came across who changed my mind on climate change. I’d be nothing without him. He believed in me from the start. I stand on the shoulders of giants like him; they walked so I could run. I don’t take it for granted.

Four climate realists walk into a coffee shop. Got to catch up with an icon today; my friend Tony Heller (@TonyClimate) today while he and I happen to both be in the Denver area. I got to meet his wife, the wonderful @KiryeNet too. Thanks to @RonDavison81118 of @FriendsOScience for driving me up.

I’ve just seen a post from yet another man who thinks my position has shifted since I wrote my 2020 essay about gender identity ideology and the consequent clash of rights jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-r… For the avoidance of doubt, I stand by every word I wrote then. For instance: ‘woman isn’t a costume.’ If it surprises you that I say men don’t become women by wearing make up and dresses, you didn’t understand the essay. I’ve been crystal clear all along that I believe people are free to live and present themselves as the opposite sex if that’s what feels comfortable and authentic TO THEM. This appears to have been interpreted (most often, tellingly, by men) as ‘and it naturally follows that I, as a woman, will validate a man’s belief that he is now, to all intents and purposes, the same sex as me, and I will use only the speech he deems appropriate and will be very careful to protect his sensitive ego, no matter the cost to myself in pretending to believe a falsehood, or the loss of my own rights due to this pretence.’ Dress as you like within normal bounds of situational decency, wear lipstick, sequins and a beard if you want, call yourself whatever you like, have sex with any consenting adult you please: I wish you health, happiness and safety. What you don’t get is the power to compel my speech and belief. When I call a man a man, I am speaking verifiable truth. It is essential to be able to accurately name sex when discussing fair sport, facilities and services for women and girls and the right of gay people not to be demonised for their same-sex attraction. In years to come, a lot of useful idiots are going to awake to the fact that they’ve been complicit in enormous harm done to women, girls, gay people who stood against the insanity, and some extremely vulnerable young people. I don’t doubt we’ll hear a lot of, ‘I thought I was just being kind.’ Such individuals, especially those in positions of power, should be asked why they never had anything to say about the loud, public, widespread unkindness directed against those who refused to adopt their fashionable, elitist beliefs, eg, the detransitioners being bullied and vilified by former ‘allies’, the whistleblowers who tried to stop an unregulated experiment on troubled children, the women who lost their careers and livelihoods by standing up for all women’s rights. Some people appear to believe it a worse crime for a woman to call a man a man than for trans activists to call loudly and publicly for the assault and assassination of all women who refuse to bend the knee. I have never wished violence or any other kind of harm on a trans-identified person, but, like many other people who’ve defended women’s and girls’ rights over the past few years, I have received thousands of threats of death, rape and torture. The wilful blindness of those who bleat ‘both sides’ will rightly be judged harshly in times to come. TL;DR Trans women aren’t women, and if that hurts your feelings, be grateful you live in a society where you are just as free to espouse gender ideology as I am to speak the truth. As Orwell said: ‘Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.’

It’s hard not to see it as an ideological witch hunt against women’s only spaces. Nomes Witney is being sued for $30 000 for refusing a biological male membership to her women’s only pole dancing studio. With no explanation as to why such damages are necessary given there are many other classes available to them in the area. She has run this business for ten years and understands that her clientele feel better and safer in a women’s only environment. In a democracy we should be entitled to that choice. Women have had enough and she is not giving up the fight !!

CO2 is not pollution. It is plant food. Fossil fuels are not a threat to civilization. They are its foundation. My co-author Willie Soon made the full scientific case for both, one hour, on stage in Halle, Germany last month at IKEK-17 @EIKE_KLIMA From Demon to Dinner: The Scientific Case for CO2 and Fossil Fuels Watch every minute

But Alex old chap, what you don't seem to understand is that...,,,, Rates for pubs went UP under Labour Electricity bills went UP under Labour Bus fares went UP under Labour You can't put up prices then brag about reducing them again without people thinking you are a bit thick.
Alex Norris MP@AlexJJNorris

Andy has wasted no time in tackling the cost of living. This week Labour have announced that we'll be cutting VAT from electricity bills, capping bus fares at £2, and cutting rates for pubs and clubs by 20%.

It's going to be an embarrassing climbdown when Angela Rayner ends up paying back her £16,876 severance payment after defending keeping it. Until it's resolved, the issue is likely to keep following her. Every interview will bring the same question: Why keep the money after criticising others over similar payments?
Ben Graham tweet media

Good to see Rob Rinder on GMB call out Angela Rayner’s hypocrisy over severance pay. After her criticism towards political opponents, she can’t justify keeping it herself. She should be constantly asked about it.

What a morning! 💜🤍💚 Despite the threat of rain, hundreds of South Australians rallied with @salltweets on the steps of Parliament House today to stand for biological reality and the restoration of sex-based rights. To every woman, man, child and family who made the effort to be there- thank you. Your presence sent a powerful message that South Australians want laws that recognise biological sex and protect the rights, safety and dignity of all Australians but especially women and girls. 🙌 A huge thank you to our outstanding speakers who generously gave their time and voices to this cause: @SenatorBlyth MP (Liberal Party), Rebekha Sharkie MP (Federal Member for Mayo), Rebecca Hewett MP (One Nation), Sarah @MLCGame MLC (Family First), Laura Henderson MLC (Shadow Minister for Child Protection, Liberal Party), Adelaide Bastiaan (on behalf of girls), Janis Haynes (Lesbian Action Group, @ZoeJones1115 (mother), Irena Zagladov (Liberal Women’s Council) and Stacey McCaig. This movement is growing, and today showed that Australians are prepared to stand together, speak up, and keep fighting until women and girls have their rights restored. #Auspol #SAParli

Everything you have been told about climate change is false. Not spun. Not exaggerated. Mathematically false. I spent the last year proving it. Last month I delivered the whole case, uncut, to a room of scientists in Halle, Germany. The IPCC Circle of Lies: Five Papers Falsify the Entire Framework My co-author Willie Soon also gave a talk covering all the implications, from every angle, as only he can, in his talk: From Demon to Dinner: The Scientific Case for CO2 and Fossil Fuels. Watch my talk here. Willie's in my next post.

Simon Webb is spot on again. A minor fire outside a mosque gets the Prime Minister and Home Secretary racing to the scene, promising millions in security funding, and counter-terror police involved. Meanwhile British churches are hit by arson every 10 days. 150 churches attacked in five years. Some burned to the ground. Barely a word in the media. No visits. No funding. No outrage from the establishment. Our Christian heritage is being quietly erased while mosques are prioritised and protected. This is two-tier everything. My England for the English. England. True Grit. Restore. No apologies. No surrender.

🔥 Angela Rayner’s HEATED CLASH with Rob Rinder on GMB exposes hypocrisy over the money. Rinder put it to her straight: “When Conservative ministers did that and you described them as having a staggering lack of shame. You’re back as Housing Secretary and you’ve kept the money so help me understand why that isn’t hypocritical?” Rayner claimed her case is different because those Tories were only in the job for weeks, while she was there for nearly a year: “People were in government for a number of weeks in some cases and accepted sums of severances in the thousands, only to return to government weeks later.” Rinder wasn’t buying it: “A number of people didn’t come back and they kept the money, you said they had a staggering lack of shame — but in your case that doesn’t apply?” Her reply: “If you’ve been in the job for a couple of weeks and accepted thousands of pounds, that is very different from the circumstances that I was in.” No, Angela. It’s no different. You were in the job for under a year, had to resign over unpaid tax allegations, took the £16,876 severance, then returned to the exact same role and kept every penny. You should hand that money back. You are a shameless money-grabbing hypocrite! What’s worse is that you’ve spent years lecturing others about their behaviour, yet the moment you step into government you do the very same thing. Disgraceful.
