Development works. For me, this morning was about listening. With @UNDP's Asia-Pacific team, I heard how development shapes daily life across very different contexts - and why that matters for stability and security.

With trillions needed annually, bridging the gap requires greater coherence, smarter resourcing & broader partnerships. Through initiatives like #INFF & PISTA, UNDP helps align public & private finance with national priorities—turning fragmentation into scalable, people-centered impact. Together, we can mobilize more capital to #LeaveNoOneBehind.

UNDP’s new report estimates that  8.8 million people across the 14 countries simulated are at risk of falling into poverty due to the Middle East military escalation. The poverty rate could rise by 5.5 percent, from 36 % to 41.5 %. Download: go.undp.org/T48
