@bwrath16 @HankWH @murphmj Thanks Bill, you earned everything. You always are calm under pressure and put out an incredible paper no matter what circumstances you were dealt. A decisive and talented leader. You and your team amazed me with your attention to detail, creativity and desire to be the best.

Thanks in particular to @JamesPotter23, a true newsman if ever there was one, who helped me get my foot in the door (it seemed like a good idea at the time) on the news side. And to @HankWH and @murphmj , true professionals and friends whose faith in me was invaluable.

With my seemingly 500-year run at the Herald having come to a sudden end earlier this week, I'd like to offer a quick thanks to everyone I worked with and for along the way. Editors, designers, writers, photographers, press guys, pre-press guys, engravers (remember those?)
