Interesting replies I've gotten. One thing is clear, if Jannik Sinner was a random joe that Novak was able to beat regularly or didn't even have to play against, they wouldn't care about him regardless of their posturing. To disagree with this is to be dishonest.

Jannik Sinner has no points to defend at Indian Wells, Miami Monte Carlo, and Madrid. He was suspended for these events in 2025 for anti doping offences and now he can benefit and pick up points at these events. So unfair @atptour no wonder so many in Tennis are disillusioned.

Btw, most of the Sinner fans replies to this tweet are prioritising throwing insults rather than doing their guy Sinner some good and actually trying to defend him. Why? Because the dark cloud is still over him for a reason and those player fans are far more content with watching a great tennis player rather than watching a clean tennis product. Each to their own but I'd rather be on this side personally.
