It's a little silly not having a more defensive midfielder, though Cruyff and Zidane would say they could play anywhere, still I would have R Carlos instead of Cryuff, so Maldini with Beckenbauer and Baresi in a back-three, Beckenbauer operating as a genuine sweeper obviously. @HankFrank I tend to just use my eyes to judge how worn my running shoes are & how they feel when running. Not sure that binning them at a specific amount of mileage is necessary.

The amount of runners who don’t track the mileage on their shoes is wild to me. A runner will ice their knees, foam roll for 30 minutes, buy a massage gun, book a PT appointment, change their stride, and adjust their entire training plan before ever once checking how many miles are on their shoes. Strava tracks it for you. Add the shoe, assign it to your runs, done. Takes 10 seconds. Track your shoes. Rotate them. Replace them before they fail you.

Changing things at a major championship is always a recipe for disaster and as an athlete with over a decade of experience that was quite an amateur approach. Eager to see how Outdoors will go.
