Our group reports a Ni-catalyzed desulfurative ring contraction method in @J_A_C_S.
By performing double SNAr reactions and "deleting" the sulfur atom afterwards, many fun heterocycles can be synthesized in 2 steps from commercial materials. Congratulations, @chou15_johnson!
