78 years of ongoing Nakba. 78 years of erasure. Against all odds, we remain on our land and the land of our ancestors. Return is our right. Freedom is our destiny. On May 15, join the Palestinian people in commemorating the Nakba. #NAKBA78 🎥 PAL Global Echo

The world watched as Israel razed Gaza to the ground. Now, the world is watching as Israel razes Lebanon to the ground. War crimes beget war crimes — and the failure to bring Israel to justice for genocide has emboldened it to destroy human life with total impunity.

Lebanon has been hit with one of the largest waves of Israeli airstrikes since the escalation began. Civilians are bearing the brunt of these attacks. Civilians are #NotATarget.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility. Trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people have always been here — from the hijra of India to the Diné nádleehi to the leaders who built the modern LGBTQIA+ movement here in New York. Your existence is not up for debate. Your lives are not a political issue. We’re fighting for a city where every trans New Yorker can live openly, safely, and with joy.

The bill has been approved. Israeli prisons will turn into guillotines for Palestinians. Hundreds will be executed in the next few weeks. 9300 hostages now in Israeli custody. Dark day for humanity. Unforgettable memory in the Palestinian cause history.

Israel must immediately repeal the discriminatory death penalty law passed today by the Knesset, as it contravenes Israel’s obligations under international law. The United Nations opposes the death penalty under all circumstances. The implementation of this new law would violate international law's prohibition of cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment. Additionally, this law further entrenches Israel’s violation of the prohibition of racial segregation and apartheid as it will exclusively apply to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Israel, who are often convicted after unfair trials. Today, Palestinians commemorate the 50th anniversary of Land Day. A day of resistance against Israel’s colonization, land theft, dispossession, displacement, and ongoing Nakba. Land is central to our collective identity, being, and survival as a nation. The land that we nourished with our hands for centuries holds the memories of our ancestors, the sorrows of our elders, and the future of our children. Everyday is a Land Day in Palestine. 📷 Alaa Badarneh

Reeling from the news that dear friends @ftounifatima and @cheib1970 have been killed in an I$raeli strike in the south of Lebanon. Heartbroken beyond words. And make no mistake that this was a deliberate, targeted assassination of journalists. A war crime. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid. Words are not enough right now Rest in power. We will continue our work in your honour.

The ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem is happening now! Large Israeli forces entered the Silwan neighborhood today, 25 March, to evict 11 Palestinian families from their homes. Amidst the ongoing illegal and lethal Israeli-American offensive against Iran, Israel is expanding its ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem, throwing Palestinian families into the streets. The eviction of 11 families, marks the continuation of a massive displacement wave: approximately 2,200 people in Silwan are facing an imminent threat of forced displacement, 150 families (1,500 individuals) in al-Bustan and 90 families (700 individuals) in Baten al-Hawa. This is the reality of systematic, institutionalized violence and a clear manifestation of an Israeli policy aimed at engineering the demographic balance and "Judaizing" the neighborhood by exploiting discriminatory laws. These measures are designed to expand Israeli presence and control over one of the most politically and religiously sensitive areas in the region, serving as a crucial component of the broader ethnic cleansing currently unfolding across the West Bank.
