Perhaps this is an opportunity to educate yourself about what will happen when gas is $10 a gallon and there’s no fertilizer in the states, and when the ai industry collapses the us stock market because they can’t make more chips. When they try and take Canada for its resources.
When the government is occupied by a foreign nation and the average population has the reading skills of a 10 year old, only violence will follow.
Having been fortunate to have visited over 100 countries, I cannot recommend enough against travelling to the USA in its current and future state.

I'd highly encourage Canadians to AVOID ALL TRAVEL to the United States.
Not out spite, but out of safety.
Even Canadian citizens with proper documentation are being arrested and sent to detention camps!

ICE detain 7 year old girl from Canada—who suffers from severe autism.
She's traumatized in loud & overcrowded cell—no reason she can't be at home with her legal stepfather.
"They are being unlawfully detained," he said.
"My wife and daughter's papers are good and up to date."
He provided his wife's social security documentation—that prove she is a lawful alien with a right to work in the U.S.
Mother and child are currently locked up at the Ursula ICE detention center in McAllen, Texas—notorious for having child "cages."
