Gerrymandering is wrong regardless of which party does it. Virginians can END it this Tuesday by rejecting their state’s proposal to turn a 6D-5R map that into a 10D-1R map. In a state that Kamala Harris won with less than 52%, the current map is both fair and proportional.

GOP VA Rep Cline on Fox on VA redistricting effort: Going from a 6-5 map in a purple state to a 10-1 Democrat map is just a political partisanship. To an extreme. And our governor has really pulled a bait and switch. Abigail Spanberger ran on not doing anything with redistricting, running as a moderate, governing instead as a liberal, and embracing this gerrymander scheme..Voters don't like this idea. They don't the idea of rural voices being diminished. They don't like the idea of influenced, experienced members of Congress being thrown out simply because of partisan rhetoric, partisanship in the chamber. And they want fair maps, and that's why voters are going to vote no on Tuesday.

Senator John Fetterman had the perfect response when he was attacked by fellow Democrat Jon Ossoff for "not following the chain of command" in the Senate. "What you mean is, not voting the way I'm told to vote by Chuck Schumer or Liz Warren," said Fetterman, "Adam Schiff tried to give me marching orders, and I've been a Senator longer than him." Fetterman made it clear that he doesn't work for some back-room group of career politicians. "I work for the people of Pennsylvania, and I vote in their best interests."
