@netomnia having received your letter, I want to know about rollout in my area without having to give you all my details and agree to your passing them onto to companies. Why is this impossible?

Labour could have done the right thing - too late to avoid alienating a lot of female voters, true - but they could have told the rabid misogynists in their ranks, ‘the Supreme Court’s ruled, the law’s clear and we must follow it.’ But no. The gender maniacs remain in charge.

The trans war tearing Labour apart.. The party has postponed the women’s conference after the Supreme Court ruling in what has been called a ‘cynical and controlling’ move. My latest piece… telegraph.co.uk/gift/15dde29af…

@JournalistJill You summed it all up perfectly. Unions, political parties, all paralysed by fear of a subset of men not getting their own way 🤷🏼

@samaritans I also say this as having used their service in the past before. It will make me think again, and for that it’s unforgivable.

A convicted domestic abuser was allowed to volunteer for Samaritans despite admitting to attacking his ex-wife. A whistleblower calls it a “moral failure” and a risk to callers. A former volunteer, who resigned over the decision, said: “We’re dealing with callers that are ringing up having been the victim of domestic violence. It is a very delicate situation. “They shouldn’t be speaking to someone who has committed that very same crime.” Samaritans defended the move, stating their panel found he posed no risk despite his convictions. ➡️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/01/0…

@MallyB30725 @KingBobIIV It’s definitely worth considering. Wider range of women able to attend/travel. Generate publicity right on the doorstep of where the hurt is.

@KingBobIIV Why in London, though? It would be better in the North of England. More people than in London and the communities affected by the gangs would be more able to attend.

@JournalistJill Yes, my widowed lesbian friend just took a peek at lesbian dating sites after being partnered up for 20+ years. She says it asks for your "genital preference."

Newly single friend started 2025 by joining a new dating group on Facebook for lesbians over 40. It’s FULL of porn-soaked men in wigs and bad make-up calling themselves lesbians. I’ve seen the pictures. 🤮 How dare they?

@JournalistJill And of course we can’t complain because it’s LESBIANS who get booted out, not the predators trying to kick their way through the “cotton ceiling”.

The number of men who don't see women as fully human can be measured by their indifference to trans-identified males invading women's spaces. 'What's the harm?' they shrug. 'Who's it hurting?' Women. It's hurting women. And the essence of misogyny is thinking that doesn't count.

The Traitors, series 3, starts today. The first contestant the BBC is showcasing is 'Alex', who says "I'm a big feelings sort of guy, I'm quite emotional. If I win the prize money, IVF will be the first thing on the list. I'm desperate to be a dad" 🤔 bbc.com/mediacentre/me…

During the apartheid regime in South Africa the world responded to human rights abuses with sanctions and a sports boycott. Today, the world is silent over Afghanistan. The Afghan men’s coach, Jonathan Trott (born in South Africa but played cricket for England), was recently asked which was the best team in the Asia Cup. He proudly patted the badge on his shirt – Afghanistan. Pride in representing a country that has inflicted the most extreme human rights abuses on its female citizens is not the win @Trotty might think it is. The England men’s cricket team is drawn to play Afghanistan on 26th February 2025 in the ICC Champions Trophy. Women’s Rights Network calls for England to forfeit the match. In fact, we call on our politicians and sports governing bodies to go further. We call for: · @Keir_Starmer to order a boycott of all Afghanistan fixtures in any sport. · The @ECB_cricket to forfeit all matches against the Afghanistan men’s cricket team in any tournament. · Players and coaches to examine their consciences – the women in your families are free to dress how they please, be educated, take jobs, travel, have bank accounts, speak and sing. How can you in all conscience play a country that denies women their basic human rights? Pride in the team shirt includes pride in your country’s record on standing up for human rights and against dictators who bask in the kudos of sporting success. What is happening to the women of Afghanistan is appalling. Any sportsman of conscience should do what is right: Boycott Afghanistan.

I agree with this. Pressure needs to be put on the ICC to garnish the money it gives to Afghanistan to support cricket. That money must be used to support a refugee women's team. This is eminently doable and it's a disgrace that the ICC hasn't already done it
Susan Dalgety@DalgetySusan

In a few weeks time the Afghanistan MEN’S cricket team will play in ICC’s world championships, while Afghan women and girls are denied their most basic human rights. There must be a sporting boycott to help end this sex apartheid. Me ✍️ in The Scotsman scotsman.com/news/opinion/c…

Gill R@thespiralquirk

Read this @ICC - and the linked articles - and have the balls to either kick the Afghanistan Men's team out of all international competitions, or tell everyone why you think the country's harsh, regressive, misogynistic regime is OK to the point you've turned a blind eye to it.
