The CQC, the organisation who deemed our daughter’s death not serious enough to investigate, who dragged it out until 3 years later and then, in so many words, told us where to get off. Not fit for purpose is putting it lightly. Get rid. It is FAILING so many. #cqc #childloss

I loved this book which is about how the medical profession fails to listen to patients. I started thinking that this would be ideal for medical students (it is) but soon realised that more senior doctors, especially if white and male, would benefit more. I wish I read this book 20 years ago. The author is a doctor who specialises in HIV medicine and suffers from endometriosis. The book was inspired by her personal experience dealing with health care professionals as a patient. @crageshri

We heard former members of RCN council claim that we needed "stability" in leadership before a unanimous vote of no confidence removed them. We need capable, safe & accountable leadership. "Stability" means nothing without it, just more of the same. @rogerkline @AnnKeen11
