@AugustusThinker @ShyTurista @sentdefender What, you think they just fly in one plane and the guy runs over to it and an achievement comes up like a video game? They're flying in with air support and special forces onboard. Use some common sense.

@ShyTurista @sentdefender Because they did not hit it the first time. This is a shoot down crash site. Why need 2 C130s just to rescue 1 person? Why not just send helicopters. Truth is the first rescue teams were shot down and needed to be rescued themselves. US as always will hide their fatalities.

Photos show the charred remains of 2 U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules at the site of a temporary forward operations base in Southern Iran that was utilized during last night’s operation by U.S. Special Forces, with the aircraft being destroyed to prevent their falling into enemy hands, following the extraction of U.S. Forces.

Israel does not want peace, I don't think there is much truth to Trumps statement to be honest. I think it's a case of panic- the Iranians have called the bluff. The world would pay the consequences if they went ahead with the strikes, it was a stupid ultimatum in the first place.

If there is any truth to President Trump’s statement about actual talks with Iran, expect Israel to significantly escalate strikes against Tehran and other areas of the country in the coming days, in an attempt to draw out a “reaction” from the Islamic Regime. The last thing that Israel wants is a diplomatic end to this war that results in any kind of agreement between Iran and the United States.

The Israeli Air Force has begun a new wave of strikes targeting infrastructure sites across the Iranian capital of Tehran.

@sentdefender Trump tries to patch the system, but Israel is running a different script. This isn't diplomacy; it's a battle for control over the simulation's ending. One wants a reboot, the other wants a total wipe. Either way, the 5-day pause is dead on arrival

@MarioNawfal Self defence doesn't require funding terrorist organisations and pirates in other countries. Self defence isn't attacking your neighbours or international shipping. How much does the IRGC pay you personally? You supported Trump wholeheartedly before he was elected. Hypocrite.

🇮🇷 The "told you so" crowd has it backwards... Every hawk on the internet is pointing at Iran's missile range and multi-country retaliation as vindication. "See? We had to hit them. Look how dangerous they are." That reasoning collapses under its own weight. Iran didn't launch anything until it was attacked. Responding to being bombed is not the same as posing an imminent threat. If self-defense proves you deserved to be attacked, then every country with a military is fair game for preemptive war. Capability without intent is not a threat. Brazil has a military. So does Indonesia. Nobody is suggesting they need to be neutralized. The moment you start treating the mere existence of weapons as justification for striking first, you've created a world where every nation on earth is either attacking or waiting to be attacked...
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: Trump gives Iran a 48-hour ultimatum to fully open the Strait of Hormuz or the U.S. will obliterate their power plants, "starting with the biggest one first." Three weeks of "winding down" talk just ended with the most aggressive threat of the entire war. Destroying Iran's power grid would plunge 90 million people into darkness and trigger a humanitarian catastrophe. The next two days will define everything. Source: Truth Social

@ahmedkutigi1 @antmillionsbot You assume that the most well funded military in the world is going to run out of weapons before the country that's completely cut off? How exactly does that work in your mind? The USA has limited means but Iran doesn’t, did you even think about the logistics on that one?

One thing you’ve left out of your analysis is that you assume Israel and the United States have unlimited military resources—that they can simply keep producing more F-35s, F-15s, bombs, interceptors, and everything else—while ignoring the economic impact on both the USA and Israel. More importantly, you are overlooking the macro dynamics of a war of attrition. Unexpected changes can arise that favor one party in such a war. There are many unknown unknowns in a prolonged conflict. If the war continues, it is hard to predict the final outcome or how it will end.

@ppie_w @Lash61Lewis @theoztrucker Rubbish, unions incentivised to ensure that supply never meets demand. Any industry with a union that has the licencing board on speed dial will never allow high productivity to impact wages like ETU ignoring the risk triangle to preference administrative vs engineering controls

Once upon a time, in my life time actually, we did EVERYTHING in this country. We refined enough fuel, we mined, we made steel and produced aluminium, built cars, planes and ships. We manufactured whatever we wanted and exported to the world, lived off the sheeps back. Our country has been mismanaged to near death by politicians looking for votes ably supported by the short sighted cretins who voted for them.

If you look through Anthony Albanese's expenses of over $1.5 million in a three-month period, the bloke is slugging us for two leased cars with fuel cards, yet he's driven everywhere in the V12 twin-turbo BMW. Who drives these cars? His son and missus? Not to mention we pay for his NBN connection at his rental property - the $4.5 million beach house. Australians are doing it tough thanks to Labor, and this is the thanks we get: a kick in the guts.

@frankjperaza @NOELreports They have tunnels full of boats that are basically designed to attack commercial shipping and you think that's a reason to not attack them? Also to be clear Iran and Venezuela are both a lot more about China and Russia than you think, very much in America's interest.

Farmers cannot harvest because they have no diesel. The diesel pumps have run dry. The country will grind to a halt under Labor. Albanese has no clue. The bloke shouldn't be in the job. If we didn't waste trillions of dollars on this renewable scam Australia would have: A 100% domestic clean nuclear grid. 100% domestic fuel security. Cheap reliable energy immune from global conflict and China’s blackmail antics. This is a strategic fact. You get what you pay for, and we paid for ideology and political pork barrelling instead of nation security.

@JimThom90458694 LNP ‘management’ is a 25-year gas deal with no inflation link, subsidising the same companies with $10bn a year diesel rebates. If gas sold at market rates instead of Howard-era leftovers, we’d have a Sovereign Wealth Fund, not a debt crisis. Liquidated our future 4 headlines

$50,000 every single minute just to pay the interest on Labor’s debt. That is how Labor is using your hard earned tax dollars. Not to fix problems, not to build the future, just to service the bill. $1.2 trillion of Labor debt means generations of Australians will be paying for the government's spending binge. And under Anthony Albanese, that debt is only getting bigger.

@_Tumbawumba @ShackelWill Spot on. Howard traded Australia’s energy future for a Senate deal to sell Telstra. The ultimate irony? We later paid billions to buy back that same rotting copper for the NBN—a short-sighted 'saving' that cost us double and left us a decade behind. Peak LNP policy.

Nuclear energy was banned because the Howard government was blackmailed. The Greens and the Democrats were staunchly opposed to Nuclear taking shape in Australia. Howard says the political deals were needed to privatise Telstra and approve a nuclear medicine facility at Lucas Heights. That's your reason, nothing to do with anything but ideological politics. We need to lift the bans!

Australia's nuclear ban is now 27 years old, but what's the reason for it? If the ban was about safety, why make an amendment for AUKUS? It's about nuclear not stacking up, lift the ban and prove it. Senators Hume & Canavan both have bills to lift the bans. Let's see where our leaders stand.
