I've been a member of X since 2010. In that time, I've only ever been a casual user. Recently, someone that I trust suggested that I should take X more seriously and grow my audience as a #ContentCreator. Starting today, that's what I am going to do. I'm a jack-of-all-trades and have worn many hats in my life, so I'm up for the challenge. I'm setting myself a "baby-step" first goal -- reach 500 followers. I'm asking you to give me a chance to broaden my audience organically. I was watching a 2 hr movie on Amazon & it had 5 commercial breaks. WTF am I paying for? Typical frog in the boiling water. It started with 1 ad at the beginning but they just can't help themselves & had to shove in more Its worse than network TV because at least that was free

@jk_rowling I wear hoodies on my farm during the winter months. It's the best way to keep my head warm, and to keep my toboggan from blowing off when the wind picks up. I usually wear multiple layers over the hoodie.

It's not really a controversial take. People are conflating the author with the text. There's loads of pagan imagery in the books. It doesn't mean they're bad books or that Tolkien wasn't Christian.

Jack Posobiec is brilliant if you think about it. He's using the widespread and all-encompassing love of 'Lord of the Rings' to engagement farm. He knows it's not a story about paganism just as much as we all do. And yet, he rightfully predicted that everyone would defend it.

It's a real conundrum, of which I can see both sides as valid. I've never used anonymity on Twitter/X because I approach public discourse in good faith. I stand behind what I say. I'm just an average Joe trying to be honest. What you see is what you get. And yet, I'm fully aware that there are total sickos who can and will violate this unspoken pact of mutual trust for their own benefit. Anonymity has its place; even our Founding Fathers knew this when combatting British tyranny during the days before the American Revolution. Overall, I just wish people were far better at treating others online with respect. If they did, anonymity wouldn't be necessary.

@WartTheWizard @EthanVanSciver The sad truth is that misery is all some people have. They're hollow and soulless on the inside, so they cling to negativity in an attempt to fill that void. Misery is cheap and there's plenty of it to go around, so they pack their lifeless meat sacks to the brim with it.

Why on earth can't people just take me at my word? Ava was 8 years old and had outgrown all of the diapers for kids, and she still wasn't potty trained. We were considering trying adult diapers for her, and we looked into it. Fortunately, one of her school teachers was able to break through on toilet training her, and it was a fucking miracle and amazing. We never had to buy them. But the search happened, so I guess Google just figured I might still be interested? Hold that thought, Google. Not Andrea. She suffers from body aches, slow speech and mind fog at her worst right now. Fortunately everything else is okay.

I never would have thought Vikkiverse would be able to successfully take the moral high-ground over Methwin but here we are. EVS said the diapers were for Eva, it would make sense that EVS would also defend his wife's honor. Broken clocks and all that: well played Vikki.

I sure do miss having Dennis Miller around. I grew up with him on my television. I listened to every podcast. Honestly, I understand why he retreated from the world of broadcasting, but his wit and wisdom were a bright spot in an otherwise dreary world.
