AND with $$ billions put into the local economies by troops, family members, civilian employees, non-permanent personnel who get rotated through, etc...... AND indirect taxes paid to the governments through sales of fuel, food, vehicles, clothing, and so on. If the U.S. withdraws from these bases and nations, the economies - local and national - will drop into severe recessions and probably into depressions - economic collapse. The locations these U.S. military forces will then be permanently sent to, conversely, will boom from the influx of spending being injected into their economies. There will be adjustments as the influx of people will strain the local roads, housing markets, food supplies & distribution, law enforcement & other municipal services - 'growing pains'. There will be big losers and big winners. And based on their recent (lack of) actions, the Europeans are not in good positions.
