This is the mother of my kids and the below post is one of the one of the reasons you should let self proclaimed guru posts go in one ear and out the other as quickly as possible. Especially from young guys who have obviously never been in contact with someone with cancer or have zero experience treating it. She was dx with stage 3 HER 2+ Breast Cancer. My ex tried to treat her cancer holistically. She was a health nut to an extreme. Finally, her oncologist said “You’ll be dead in 6 months if you don’t do chemo”. I often told her when she was wasting 5-7 months on “holistic” treatments “your oncologist has one thing you don’t have: perspective. He sees the countless people in his office daily who have tried silly approaches like the ones you see online, and he sees the countless people who die from them”. She didn’t have “perspective” and neither does this health “guru” below. Be very careful what you listen to on here, especially when it’s coming from a young kid with virtually zero experience in the topic (or in life). Just because he receives countless messages 🤥 about something makes him no more of an expert than I am on spaceships and flying people to mars because of reading Elon Musk’s biography. This pic was 12 years ago. My ex got down to 85 lbs, had mastectomy, when through brutal chemo, radiation and more surgeries than I can remember. She is alive and well and there for our 3 daughters today, along with hundreds of thousands of other people because of chemo, not because of some fru fru method of some self proclaimed online guru who more than likely wouldn’t even make it through one year of medical school. Most of these online gurus are great at one thing and one thing only: being a salesman. They sell the snake oil of their expertise, having zero experience or perspective on said topics. The problem isn’t them deceiving old guys like me, the problem is them deceiving the younger generations with completely asinine takes.

19 years - 2004 vs today. A bit of random advice for the young bucks out there on X... - Marriage and relationships should be fun for the most part. Find someone you have fun with (good, clean fun) and who doesn't take life too seriously. - Kindness goes a long way. It's probably the best characteristic to look for in a wife. If she's kind to you, your friends/family/parents, she will be kind in general. It's a simple thing, but pay attention - if she puts others before herself, that's a great sign. - Don't let anyone tell you what you "should" or "shouldn't" do. If I listened to some of the X accounts out there, I never would have married my wife. She's an engineer, and according to X, women should be teachers or stay-at-home moms who homeschool only. It IS possible to be an excellent, loving mother and wife, while also having a great career, despite what people on this app say. - Puka shell necklaces will always be stylish, no matter what anyone tells you. Looking forward to the next 19 years.

@zeta_globin @Submetallic 2022 review article is not “the latest”. Correlation does not equal causation. “Could trigger it”. None of this is proven. Learn to critically appraise scientific literature before you advise everyone to lock their kids away. Will be my last comment.

dude this is what multiple MDs told me could trigger it and lit reviews at the time all supported it here is the latest! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34794324/ another MD also mentioned casein but dairy milk is just a hot mess of controversy in immunology I'm HLA-DQ2.5 homozygous & Irish & Finnish and my partner is HLA-DQ8/Jewish and when we have kids I'm going to be aware of all the possibilities to help them not become Type 1 Diabetics

don't you have a MD my whole family has celiac & T1D throughout and when I was dxed the dr said they're frequently triggered by viruses like enteroviruses on the background of genetics this is just common knowledge, same things were said to other family and I've worked in cell therapy work the T1D which will never work so I'd rather just do everything I can to prevent- there's also anti-cd3 treatments now to delay

Are the people leaving these comments living in a parallel universe? The only mass release of hostages has come through ceasefire and prisoner exchanges. More hostages have been killed by the Israeli army than rescued by them. A deal means freed hostages without mass death.

@JarredReedMD @zeta_globin TBH it was clear the effects would be overstated here without even seeing the full study. I don't have skin in the game because my kids didn't go to daycare but to say it has an effect on ASD or not is implausible on its face.

@zeta_globin This single study is definitely not cause to upend your entire life and fear that daycare is going to make your kid autistic.
