@xsphi "Why don't children defend themselves politically?" How are they supposed to know they need to? *Should* they even need to? They're children. Political defense is not even a concept which they are yet capable of understanding, much less caring about.

why are teenagers, as a class, so incapable of political self-defense? they're on the verge of losing access to large swaths of the internet, social media, and culture generally, and they... don't seem to care at all?

@HighEarthOrbit_ USG UAP files are a complete bust and contain absolutely no actual "disclosure" or definitive proof of anything whatsoever... Jeremy Corbell has also never produced any definitive proof or disclosure of absolutely anything whatsoever coincidence? I think not

Wait.... so most of the videos Corbell showed in his documentary are the same ones that were just released in the latest UAP files drop....but he has them without the sensor data blacked out!!!! WTF is going on?

@Freyy_is Lots of people shilling DuckDuckGo... DDG is owned by Gabriel Weinberg... iykyk. DDG relies on Microsoft Bing for their backend - it's not really any "safer" or more anonymous as far as I can tell. It has the same biases, for instance, on the palestine-conflict.

genuinely asking… what browsers/search engines are people moving to now that half the internet has transitioned to an AI slop and feels algorithmically generated and impossible to trust

@GPrime85 Here's what you DONT mention: Most artists suck. They have their own taste, and they're usually quite different from those of normal "people", and often ideologically captured When I contract art, I get back stuff that has embedded ideologies I didnt ask for. AI doesnt do that

"200 bucks per second (of animation) and you wonder why everyone is abandoning 'artists' in favor of AI" Hand drawn animation is 8-12 frames per second. Let's average it to 10. That's 20 bucks per drawing, in color, plus backgrounds, plus thumbnails, plus extra time if work needs to be redone or tweaked. Also complexity is exponential, so more characters per scene means more work per frame, x10 per second. If it takes more time than estimated, the artist doesn't earn get overtime. They lose money. Imagine going to work this Tuesday and your boss says "You expect me to PAY you? I could just have a machine do your job." Would you still get up at 6am go to work? Do you have a job? Do you get paid? So do artists. So, 200 bucks per second is more than fair. In fact, it's a steal. If you want quality, you have to buy it like everything else. If you want to pay nothing, all you get will be worthless slop.

@GPrime85 You're a self-pretentious fool who thinks society owes you something just because you know how to "draw". We don't, lol. Devs like me have been putting out work in public for 30+ years. I don't get to complain when you hit F12 in your browser and learn from my work. Why do you?

"Hurr you artists are so self-righteous" Silence thyself, you hypocritical ape. Know what we call people who do work and don't get paid? Slaves. Are you a slave? Do you work for free? No? Neither do we. Mention AI and it's a block. If you don't respect me, I don't respect you.

@Pirat_Nation Can we all use this moment to just acknowledge that there seems to be an *incredibly* uncomfortable amount of "overlap" between "anime" and CSAM? Like if you are effectively uploading hand-drawn CSAM to Google Drive... yeah, you probably deserve a lot more than a ban.

A Japanese manga artist lost his entire Google account forever after he uploaded private files from an old comic he drew to Google Drive. Google’s AI checked the files and flagged them as not allowed. He asked Google to review it again, but they rejected his appeal and banned the account immediately. He can no longer access years of his private drawings and lost access to many websites and services that used his Google login. The artist said this is very embarrassing and causes him a lot of trouble. He warned that it might not happen to people who always follow every rule, but others should be careful. So Google is scanning files that people upload to its cloud storage even if they are supposed to be private. I wonder how long they have been doing this.

@TutaPrivacy Can we all use this moment to just acknowledge that there seems to be an *incredibly* uncomfortable amount of "overlap" between "anime" and CSAM? Characters are often drawn as if underage, even when not. Lots of cutesy-shit that mimics children's books. I think that's weird.

@kentstation @surajit_ghosh2 Fed is funny coming from you, but "bot" is downright comedical gold your account literally has less than 10 verified followers, out of almost 4k. The rest of those are all foreign bot/Cryptoshill accounts lol All while accusing a real verifiable person with a website lmao

Out of all the newly released files, this one is easily the wildest The object almost appears humanoid, with visible arms and legs. The real question is what speed is this thing flying at? Could this be the most convincing UFO or alien footage ever made public?

@hoaxone845 @surajit_ghosh2 Why are you *assuming* you know what height that object is at? When ALL of the indicators that would show that information to you, are REDACTED Did you actually do any kind of analysis on the video to determine that? Or did you just pull it out your ass? Sounds like the latter

@JasonABloomer @surajit_ghosh2 The amount of fuel needed and the lack of air at those heights is why nobody does it. You can see the navy using the gravity designed one and they never go into the thousands. And to spin in circles? Hell no

@hoaxone845 @surajit_ghosh2 How is this even logically coherent? Take video, extract a single frame. There you go. You now have a still frame you can do actual analysis on by comparing it to other frames from the video. Congratulations, you've learned how to analyze video instead of just assume things.

@BeanJuiceStudio Both things can absolutely be true simultaneously - these are not mutually exclusive truths. All AC should be server-side. That is the only way to ever make it effective. But that costs additional money, where currently, they can hand that compute cost over to you.

@hoaxone845 @surajit_ghosh2 if you actually knew how to analyze video you'd post a screenshot or clip showing your own depth-based analysis using multiple still frames as counter but I notice that all you people who are so damn sure of yourselves, never do, cause you're not actually analyzing these videos

@hoaxone845 @surajit_ghosh2 YOU, my friend, are the stupid one. You ask these questions, but do YOU have the answers yourself? How could you, when the indicators that would read those values out to you, are ALL redacted? You're assuming, like an idiot - while I'm using clues given by the frame analysis.

@rkabanlit Except with military-grade IR senors, they have military-grade anti-glare coatings, which mostly remove those additional artifacts as shown. What they *cant* remove, however, are artifacts and glare from source lights. Angle, wavelength, and distance all play a role.

"Diffraction" B.S., those are either Static, or change Shape and even disappear if they move around since those depend on specific interaction between the Light Source and Lens. The North Star UAP doesn't change Shape as it moved around
Jason Bloomer@JasonABloomer

@PeaceulTwo @surajit_ghosh2 yes because bright lights totally don't create diffraction patterns on lenses when viewed at an oblique angle

@TheUfoJoe It's 100% not. Slow the video down, watch the end frames closely. Specifically bottom of frame where you can see "sparkles". In the last few frames, when the object moves, the pattern moves with it to the right. The camera is panning to the left, giving the illusion of movement
