In 2025, the Medicare conversion factor will be lower than it was in 2015. Are pharmacists and techs not allowed to wear sweaters with pockets? This guy next to me is having a heated conversation on the phone and keeps saying “sweaters are fine in the pharmacy but the one tech keeps wearing the ones with pockets and I can’t get her to stop!”

@olsonplanner Results, pt questions, call, all the above. Also my personality is more inclined to be plugged in, probably to my own detriment. The expansion of EMR into devices - phones and watches - has certainly eroded into “free” time. And speaking of free, it is usually a free service…

Social Security payments are inflation adjusted, but Medicare physician fee schedules are not... an interesting contraindication that has devalued physician efforts for far too long. Advocacy that only delays future reductions in payment are not good enough... change is needed.

@olsonplanner Just called. Provided my number provided I was disconnected. Was disconnected…. Was not called back. This behavior is criminal. Before I was disconnected they suggested that this push back would apply to some but not all IDR plans? Idk.

@JasonFarrow10 It’s a wild system. Loan servicers like MOHELA have been tasked with a lot without the necessary resources to do it. So everybody loses.

Anybody else seeing their income-driven repayment plan income recertification date pushed off by 12 months into 2025?

@UroJones @PODS I used them when moving from Sacramento to Kansas City. No significant issues. I suspect regional offices will have unique experiences.

Has anyone had a reasonable experience with @PODS? Has been a total nightmare for us. Multiple 2+ hr wait times on the phone only to have no resolution from staff

I thought I bit off more than I could chew 18 months ago when I recruited 32 medical students to get involved with urology research projects. Countless hours were spent on zoom sessions introducing them to clinical research study design, IRB proposals, chart review, data analysis, and abstract/manuscript writing. I am beyond proud to see 19 medical students representing @IUendourology involved across our 17 presentations at this years @NCSAUA meeting. We have a fantastic team here with @EndoMarcelino & James Lingeman at the helm, and it’s been rewarding to help jump start the careers of these students.

Would also be interested in knowing surgeon and anesthesiologist related outcomes. Would a case like this be more stressful knowing the patient was awake? Regardless, an interesting consideration.
