@JasonFrodge @sanderson1611 That’s what I’m actually arguing. NONE OF US determine who is saved! And your chosen denomination doesn’t matter a lick! Only Jesus can save you, and it’s a personal decision you must make to surrender to Him. It’s the simplest difficult thing you’ll ever do.

The fact is that most Baptists and most Orthodox Christians are not saved. As well as most Presbyterians, Lutherans, Catholics, and most others.
To be saved, you must come to Jesus poor in spirit and surrender yourself to Him alone. You can’t retain this idea that you are responsible for your own salvation in any way. You have to come to Him knowing that He died for you and your entire part is just to surrender to Him.
And then He does the work to regenerate your spirit from above that induces the permanent change in you which we call salvation.
Until that time you’re just a God-fearer.
