After years of traveling and performing, one of the things I appreciate most is perspective. I genuinely love the work: the audiences, the connection, the opportunity to make people laugh, think, and feel something meaningful. But travel also teaches you what matters most. For me, that’s family. The stage is exciting. The travel is memorable. But home is grounding. This song, “Traveling Man,” reflects some of that journey and gratitude.

One thing adulthood has taught me: Very few people completely know what they’re doing. Most people are balancing pressure, responsibility, uncertainty, and growth all at once while trying to lead well and take care of the people around them. Leadership often looks far more human behind the scenes than people realize. And honestly, that realization has made me more compassionate.

One of the things performing has taught me is that music creates connection faster than almost anything else. People may forget details. But they rarely forget how a moment made them feel. That emotional connection is part of what makes music so timeless. You can find more musical performances weekly on my podcast, The Jason Hewlett Show, streaming now.

Happy Birthday to my hero, my Dad, John Hewlett. Here we are singing together on stage, harmonizing through Lee Greenwood's classic, "God Bless The USA", leading to a standing ovation and shouts of encore. My Dad could have easily been the lead singer of a famous band and a rock star, instead he chose to focus on providing for his family and gave us the most magical childhood a kid could hope for, as he was one of the top salesmen in the world in the insurance industry and financial planning, providing us with opportunities and memories that will live on forever. We thought he wouldn't make it to his 60's, let alone 70's, due to a family inherited genetic condition to cardiovascular issues taking our loved ones too soon, so to celebrate him today in his 75th year of life is a great blessing. His latest career has been saving the hearts of mankind, having now reached over 1 Million souls and on our way to 100 Million people blessed with Cardio Miracle. I am very proud of my Dad, he launched my career and has supported me all the way, and it is an honor to support his successful business efforts to spread health worldwide with the finest nitric oxide and Vitamin D3 supplement on the planet. Love you, Dad, so grateful we get to keep singing together. @cardio_miracle @cardiomiracle1

It's been a whole year since May 12, 2025 when I launched my channel after leaving Scripture Central, and what a year it's been! Here are 4 things that surprised me.

2. Less Privacy. Because I live in Utah and there’s a high concentration of Latter-day Saints here, I’ve been surprised at how often I’ve been stopped by people who recognize me. Most of the time it helps me stay grounded and mission-driven. Some days it's hard.

One of the strongest signs of effective leadership is being willing to help someone grow beyond you. In a recent conversation on the Blue Stiley podcast, Jason Hewlett shared a perspective that applies to leadership, business, parenting, coaching, and mentorship alike: Great leaders do not feel threatened when someone they helped succeeds at a higher level. They celebrate it. There is something deeply rewarding about hearing: “They taught me how to do this.” And then watching that person take the skill, lesson, or opportunity even further than expected. Some of the most meaningful rewards in life are not financial. They come from seeing people develop confidence, capability, and impact because someone invested in them early on. That is the kind of leadership that creates legacy. Watch the full conversation featuring Jason Hewlett on the Blue Stiley podcast.

Leadership doesn’t mean taking yourself too seriously. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…is remind people you’re human.

This Wednesday, May 6th, I'll be honored to welcome the admitted founders and revered faculty to Paradise Valley, Arizona for the 28th annual gathering of the Consumer Health Summit community of leading founders in wellness and fitness, the only such community in existence. It's an extremely impressive group of returning and newly invited founders that will be connecting, learning and expanding together for 3 days, with the collective prowess, purpose and generosity that every founder brings to this community. While every CHSer warrants and can share a keynote, this year's selected faculty will be both captivating and priceless in what is shared with those gathered: @DrAmieHornaman / Fixxr Formulas Jay Dhaliwal / @SuperPatchCo Siggi Clavien / Equilibrium Labs / The Liver Clinic @Peter_Crone Sachin Patel / Living Proof @JasonHewlett / @Cardio_Miracle Bob Castellini / Sentinel Wealth @ScottHickle / @ThroneScience @Mark_Sisson / @wearpeluva @meredithperry / @elemindtech @MikeKoenigsReal Dr. Bryce Appelbaum @MarkHerbick / @PursantLLC Jon Hacker / ZenBud Michael Feldstein / @JASPRCo @MastinKipp I'm grateful for the 28 year run (and counting!) of this community and even moreso for the incalculable impact that our participating founders have had on the world with businesses of innovation, efficacy, and heart. The CHS invitational gathering rolls Wednesday through Friday, have yourself an amazing week. My wife tried to get into hear @hankrsmith speak at Women’s Conference at BYU today. The man is way too popular, and there was no way she was getting in. They need to give the man a bigger auditorium. 😂😂😂 We love you, Hank
