Please @RiotMeddler @RiotPabro do not let Classic go live without Classic character models. It completely kills the purpose of Classic. Find other ways to make money, but do not have old character models behind a pay wall.

Its just sad, because it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of why people even WANT to play Classic League (a return to what the game used to feel and look like)
Also -- buying the skins doesnt mean the OTHER players will also buy + use them, so you will never truly get the visually Classic experience :(

@RiotFeralPony That all said, the game mode in general is fun, and a really pleasant surprise.
As someone who never played in the OG days, it's really neat to actually get to play with all these champs/items/systems I've heard so much about -- feels like learning any entirely new game.

@RiotFeralPony I know you've probably heard more than enough of this one -- but gotta put my 2c in about the modern models just not feeling like a good fit for the mode.
At minimum, I think the classic skins should be default. Seeing 8-10 modern champs running around the map just feels so off.
