SeaWorld''s newest ride Expedition Odyssey which just opened in May 2025 is closing in its current form on April 10th and will reopen in 40 days with a new ride film and story called Fire & Ice. They aim to make the ride more thrilling with Volcanoes and more @SeaWorld

I worked at SeaWorld when Sesame Street land opened, and I was absolutely blown away by how wonderful it was. So, it’s really sad to see that they’ve just let it go. The apathy is astounding.
But also, what would happen to the Sesame Place parks?

SeaWorld is now being sued by @SesameWorkshop to end their decades-long relationship. Given the company’s recent business practices, this was only a matter of time. Sesame Street Land itself is a great example of the poor stewardship SeaWorld has shown toward the brand.
