@StoneGroovvy @VinnysCorner1 I never thought that was a good match with Amare or Iverson. You need a center who creates on his own, not one that utilizes dimes. Both Iverson and Melo don’t make any sense as both play 1-on-1 ball. CP3 or Bosh would have fit better.

It 100% is. The only reason Wagler is over Acuff is because that isn’t what they need out of the draft. Already have a ball dominant lead guard who struggles on defense. Sure you can say Wagler is just like Tre and the other guards, but I do think he could lead a second unit.

I watched Michael Jordan at the age of 38. He was with the Wizards. Years of being a degenerate alcoholic had caught up to him. He had very little lift. He was missing basic fast-break dunks. @NBA__Courtside How about just give the worst teams a higher percentage to get a top pick, and lower the percentage if a team had a good record one and two years before.

Zach Lowe shares a tanking solution idea that came up in the GMs meeting that intrigued a few General Managers: A proposal to not get rid of the draft entirely, but get rid of the draft order. Every team gets 100 draft credits let’s say. You bid your draft credits on every individual slot in the draft. You can also trade your draft credits like a veteran player for 40 draft credits if you want to go in a rebuilding direction. As teams advance in the playoffs, they lose draft credits so the best teams would have less to bid on individual picks. So you can take all your credits and bid on the number 1 pick in the draft if you want. Or if you think next years draft is better, you roll your credits over. (Via Zach Lowe Show)
