Yall do know qualifying offers go out in 2 days right? No front office with a #1 pick is flipping their entire draft board based on a single tournament run. If the Wings draft Lauren, great but if they do that decision was made weeks ago as it impacts everything happening in 48 hrs. Bringing in a center like Betts is a completely different roster construction than drafting a guard like Azzi. What I'm saying is..whatever the Wings are doing..it's been decided long before this weekend.

@DBGyt_ If Dallas didn’t have the number one pick Azzi never goes 1. Awa is absolutely the best pick and Dallas having a long term C to pair with Paige would be dream scenario for them. The Lynx are taking one of Olivia Kiki or Azzi

If The Wings #1 priority is bringing back Arike (Likely a core supermax) I can't see them taking Azzi in the draft! Using a #1 pick on a player who may not ever start over Arike/Paige and will be 24 this year doesn't make sense

@mavsmoneyball Great article again To your point, Azzi having a 16% assist rate at her age, in UConn's system (in line with Olivia Olson, Kneepkens) does indicate someone who is a good passer in a system, but asked to improvise and that's where things get tricky.

@JayBullwbb That's because azzi does have to play well to win games. Uconn is so stacked she could not even show up and they would win 99% of the time. The 3 girls you named all have to perform or there teams have no chance against high level d1 competition.
