@JenBlumenthal yup definitely aware of those i think it’s crazy to see people jump to immediate conclusions all over socials personal experience working with CQ and Epic and resolving complaints highlighted the complexity for me

it’s wild to see people jumping to the conclusion that epic is operating purely in the best interest of the customers and patients might they be threatened? (Carequality endpoints by integrator)

@Scott__Bowerman @md_holdings @RebeccaCoelius @healthapiguy To my knowledge, Particle acts as a on-ramp to CareQuality, Commonwell, and eHealth Exchange like many other companies. These companies include but are not limited to Surescripts, Redox, Intersystems, Health Gorilla, Kno2, Milliman Intelliscript, MedAllies and many more.

I just heard Epic shut Particle off from the HIEs. Widespread impact to Particle customers. Can anybody confirm or explain what’s going on? @healthapiguy ?

@Scott__Bowerman @md_holdings @RebeccaCoelius @healthapiguy 2) This thread is specifically talking CareQuality. CareQuality, Commonwell & eHealth Exchange are loosely referred to as the National Networks aka HINs. In the future, QHINs could replace HINs if TEFCA takes off. If TEFCA takes off you only need to connect to 1 QHIN (in theory).

The health care “ground” just shook a little. $9 memberships to @onemedical via @amazon. It’s my understanding they are still billing insurance but still, that’s amazing. 👏 How does Walmart respond? 🤔Very hard to see how hospital owned primary care competes long-term.
Andy Jassy@ajassy

Taking care of your health should be easy, but the current U.S. health care experience is often hard to navigate, frustrating, and dissatisfying. Today, we’re making high-quality health care more affordable: @OneMedical memberships are now available to Prime members for just $9 a month or $99 a year (up to a $100 savings), so more people can get and stay healthy. One Medical joined Amazon earlier this year as part of our effort to reinvent the health care experience. They offer health care designed around you, with a care team that’s on call and ready when and where you need it through unlimited access to 24/7 on-demand virtual care and easy in-app scheduling for same-day and next-day appointments. This helps remove the frustration and inconvenience of having to wait weeks for a basic check-up or to discuss an urgent health need, and they’re committed to providing an experience that never feels rushed. To make things even easier, if you need medication, you can use Amazon Pharmacy to avoid a trip to the drug store. It’s another valuable Prime benefit, and I’m excited about the impact this can have on both the health care experience, and customers’ lives. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/on…

⏰ Patient access and HIEs⏰ In this reel, @emrdoc1 says he heard many HIEs at the @civitas4health conference in August say they weren't sure we should let patients access their data — eliciting a strong reaction from @JenBlumenthal With @HealthPrivacy and HG's Dave Cassel. 🦍 Guerilla warfare 🦍 @JenBlumenthal of @millimanhealth used innovative tactics to get the APIs she needed to connect @OneRecord to payers. ( 🦍 pun not intended on her part 😆 ) Hear about them in this clip from Episode 8 of InteropTalk and find the full episode below ⬇️ With Jocelyn Keegan (@pocpHIT) and @emrdoc1 YouTube 📺 lnkd.in/gX2naxi7 Spotify 🎧 lnkd.in/g-PkhhW4 Apple Podcasts 🎧 lnkd.in/gq7EEdZT
