Today, accusations were made by ICE against one of my caseworkers — a dedicated public servant, Army veteran, and experienced member of my team. I have every reason to believe these allegations are unfounded.
It is worth noting that ICE has refused to respond to multiple letters I’ve sent about Camp East Montana regarding deaths, including a homicide; outbreaks of diseases including COVID-19, measles, and tuberculosis; waste, fraud, and abuse; a lack of legal representation or medical care; and so much more.
This administration has a history of engaging in intimidation tactics against Members of Congress as well as continuously attempting to obstruct our ability to provide oversight.
I stand proudly by the members of my team who have demonstrated nothing but dedication and integrity to serving our nation and our community.

Sometimes I get all bent out of shape about politics but then I see my kid running and laughing and realize how little it really means in the grand scheme of things. But then I start thinking about what kind of country he will inherit and then I get all bent out of shape about politics again 😂

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

A friend perfectly explains the Joe Kent phenomenon: Someone gets a government appointment. Has wacky ideas. The professionals freeze him out because he’s wasting their time. He then thinks it’s a coverup. And since he’s frozen out, all his information comes from outside the institution. In this case, from Tucker and Candace. Who he is leaking to the entire time. When he leaves, and he says the same thing they say, he now says it as an ex govt official

Lee: "Mr. Chairman, there are no cameras here. You don't have to perform. We were told this was a briefing."
Comer: "It's a briefing!"
Lee: "But she hasn't offered any information...This is a hearing. This is a hearing without the cameras. This is a hearing without C-SPAN. And it's a hearing without the public. So, what I'm asking is...."
