And I choose to have medical sterilization as my form of birth control when we felt our family was big enough. I will also say that when I got married, I was pregnant. It was a surprise.

You can’t get pregnant by having butt sex. So, yes. You have a choice. Rape or incest are not choices and the law will allow them.

@lisachristinect @FredPharmD @JohnLogic8 @indystar Are those large consequences? Yes, absolutely. But people could leave their job, college, etc and still not get a vaccine. The majority of the women this will impact don’t have the resources to travel out of state, so that’s not a solution.

But, fortunately for those who think it is okay to solve the situation in this manner, they can find a few states to go and have the abortion they would like. Sorry it’s not too convenient, but luckily, contraceptives are 95-99% effective.

This entire situation is caused by the progressive left pushing for more extreme standards. I'm fine with European style abortion laws, but if I have to choose between post birth abortion and no abortion, I choose none.

@CWSurprenant @adamwren Because if they felt this way strongly enough to release a statement afterwards, why not speak up beforehand when it might effect change and allow them to keep doing business here and hire employees here?

Also worth noting: Lilly consistently declined to comment on the legislation until the bill was signed.
