@Jenny_1884 For many, the convenience of breakfast clubs is about the wraparound childcare, not the food. We don’t all have the luxury of being able to drop off our kids at 9am and pick them up at 3.30pm whilst holding down a full time job

If you can’t give your kids a piece of toast in the morning then you’re not looking after them properly. I know money is a bit tight for some but how much does a slice of bread cost? It’s not the states responsibility, it’s parents responsibility to look after their own. Who agrees?

If we had a child through choice we would feed them a breakfast, clean their teeth afterwards, iron their school uniform and get them to a place of learning. It’s called parenting!

Tonight is the last ever Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. Whilst there’s obviously a huge rivalry between the two clubs, this feature at Everton’s training ground has always struck me as a beautiful symbol of the respect they have for each other.
