I had two athletes jump 31” today. Both below average athletically. Both jumped 16-17” in August. Programming should overcome poor genetic start points. Everyone can capitalize on the laws of motion.

You don’t get strong lifting light weights with short rest breaks… You get tired. If you want to get strong, you lift heavy weights with as much acceleration as possible… requiring you to fully rest. It’s simple.

True Speed Training looks very Vanilla on paper. It looks like: brief prep work, a handful of max effort reps, long rest periods, and chasing PRs. A lot of the extra fluff coaches add is more for the image than the result. Speed Training done right, isn’t flashy🙌🏻
