We've just fixed an issue that was allowing Rooks to join non-Sponsored Survival queues. While the experimental mode is active, all Rooks will now be correctly be funneled into Sponsored Survival for the remainder the mode is live. After the mode concludes, Rooks will then be released across Tau Ceti once again.

@JayViperTV Imo, as someone who's only experience with an extraction shooter is COD: DMZ and not a game dev: It looks generic af to the average consumer. All the colors and sci-fi robots and blocky weapons/equipment look and feel like they were taken from any sci-fi media from the 80s & 90s

No one has been more fair towards Marathon than me. It's just objectively a bad game. Live service games don't lose half of their players in 3 weeks after release when they're good. That's a fact. Cope and seethe.

With Permission from Cozmo, I am now posting about this. I received a 1 month suspension from Marathon a couple days ago for "deliberately ruining the online experience for others, either by cheating, exploiting a game glitch, or being disruptive" Let me make this clear. I am more than ok with this outcome. I made a mistake and did something fucked up. I'm willing to take this. No questions asked. No complaints given. I have reached out to both Fired and Icy and done what I can do to make amends and properly apologize. It doesn't make up for what I did, but I would say I am now on neutral terms with them for the most part. If ANYONE knows how I can properly reach out to Astro, do please let me know. In the mean time I am compiling a large list of every exploit I know exists or theorize to be possible within the game and handing it over to Bungie. It may not be much, but its my first step in making amends to Bungie. To the greater Marathon community, I apologize for how my actions affected the perception of the game as a whole. I love Marathon a lot and the fact I gave the haters more ammunition isn't something I am proud of. If you would like to hear more regarding this situation and my thoughts, I did an interview with @Geezaws2 that I think accurately depicts them. One of my team mates Ivan (YoItsMcNoodle) is also included in there and I fully agree with a lot of what he said. I will link the article below This will be my last post regarding this situation outside of answering questions people ask. For now, the road to redemption is long. See you on June 11th when I take the first step. (P.S. Yes, I bought twitter premium just for this post. Obviously don't want to say how given that would spread it, but the fix for the way MY team did it seems to work perfectly fine. Minus taking up A LOT of space Just be careful. No joke. It might not a be a problem now but it might spread as the weekend goes on. Just be on your guard and keep an ear out for any player noises. Good luck out there
