March 2026 weather wise in Vancouver, BC. Almost looks like we went through all 4 seasons. #shareyourweather #bcstorm @50ShadesofVan @MurphTWN @weathernetwork @accuweather @KGordonGlobalBC @MMadryga @RandySmall

If we we go into this weekend with TSA unfunded, it won’t surprise me if all TSA agents stop working, shutting down US airports entirely,
This is madness. It’s brutal to TSA and their families and it’s punishing to the travelling public.
Congress must reach an agreement, before it’s too late.

What I don't understand: why didn't the fire truck stop? The Air Canada jet was VERY visible with its front landing gear lights on.
Do they not look before they cross runways?! They just blindly follow instructions?

Orange Warning for Rainfall issued for Coquitlam and Metro Vancouver NE. Never seen this one issued for my area yet. This is code for "Severe weather is likely to cause significant widespread disruption, or danger". Major risk of landslides here. If you live close to the mountains on hills, have an emergency go bag ready. We are now at over 250mm of rain falling in 3.5 days. This is the same amount as the October 18-20, 2024 AR Storm for Coquitlam. This is not to be taken lightly. I will be chasing later today. An additional 100+mm more of rain is still possible between now and Friday night. We will well exceed a foot of rain in this storm. #bcstorm #shareyourweather

A very wet night for my area of Coquitlam. From 9pm to 1am we recorded 29.1mm of rainfall. Since Sunday night 146.9mm of rain has already fallen. There is much more rain still left to fall before Friday night. We may exceed 300mm of rain in this Atmospheric River. #bcstorm @50ShadesofVan @MurphTWN @weathernetwork
