Timely conversation at the 2026 Maine Outdoor Economy Summit with @SenAngusKing – a great champion for public lands, including his work w/ @SteveDaines to reauthorize the Legacy Restoration Fund. With gratitude from ⁦@tpl_org⁩.

@Deseret @lindkevin @ORRoundtable knows that these lands do have an economic value- for many types of activities! Glad we could help bring to light recreation on the Balance Sheet and work with DOI and Secretary Burgum on including this new data in the accounting for these great public spaces!

Hot Springs is an outdoor recreation destination for folks all across the country and the world. As an avid outdoorsman who loves spending time outdoors in the Natural State, I greatly enjoyed yesterday’s discussion with @ORRoundtable on how we can grow our recreation economy and preserve our nation’s - and state’s - outdoor heritage.

Proud to see my bipartisan resolution designating June as “Great Outdoors Month” pass the U.S. Senate. As an avid outdoorsman, I hope folks get outside and enjoy our parks and public lands this summer!

It was great to be able to join the @ORRoundtable for a fantastic evening celebrating the bipartisan passage of the EXPLORE Act. The outdoor recreation economy is a $1.2 trillion economic powerhouse that generates jobs and supports local communities.   Some of life‘s most treasured memories are forged in the great outdoors through explorations, exercise, and simply enjoyment. These experiences and adventures are essential to our well-being, both physically and mentally. It’s crucial that we introduce America’s youth to the outdoors at an early age and let them create moments that they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives.    We look forward to helping this vital industry grow for the benefit of all Americans! 🇺🇸

This new law is a major win for our thriving outdoor rec economy, wildlife conservation, & increased access to public lands. I’m proud this bill includes my Every Kid Outdoors Act to give every 4th grader & their family free entry to national parks & public lands for a year.

BREAKING: President Biden has signed the EXPLORE Act into law. ORR thanks its members, many bipartisan leaders within Congress, and supporters in the outdoor recreation and conservation communities for their efforts to make this historic accomplishment possible.

Honored to receive the first ever "Outdoor Recreation Leadership" award at the Outdoor Recreation Leadership Forum in Washington.

Alongside my husband, Bryan, we established the Natural State Initiative to invest in state parks, grow tourism and the outdoor economy, and make Arkansas the best place to live, work and raise a family.
