@marksbury I have been going to OCC for 13 years. The children are given a shoebox and for the next few weeks they come back and are taught about the Bible and life of Jesus. The shoe box consists of hygiene items school supplies toys and a wide variety of things.

I have to confess that I'm on the edge about Operation Christmas Child. I've been reading people saying it's more about giving kids toys than it is about proclaiming the gospel, and stories like this seem to support that.
