I just received my brother, colleague, and partner in the New Nigerian Project, His Excellency Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, CON, our presidential candidate, who, together with some distinguished leaders of our party, held a closed-door meeting which lasted about three hours. In the course of that meeting, we reviewed the activities of our party and discussed a few recent issues that have been a source of concern to all sides, and we amicably resolved all the issues We have always been on the same page on the bigger picture, i.e., winning the elections for all candidates of our party and rescuing Nigeria from the misgovernance of the APC-led government. However, a few issues have arisen, and we have agreed on how to handle them moving forward. I want to use this opportunity again to call on all members of our party to stop the bickering and name-calling and focus on the bigger picture. Both His Excellency Peter Obi and I, as well as other leaders and stakeholders of our party, will continue to consult and engage with one another to address and resolve concerns, strengthen the unity and cohesion of our party, and ensure that we remain focused on our shared mission of rescuing Nigeria and building a better future for all. Happy Democracy Day. ~HSD

Dear Senator Henry Seriake Dickson @iamHSDickson While I take my time to properly address your allusion of me not playing by the rules which I consider very disingenuous seeing how I followed the process and even when you had insisted there would be no primaries for senate I let things go and asked my teeming supporters to focus on the bigger picture, I toured the FCT pacifying my supporters and party people who rightfully felt disrespected as they were all waiting at their respective headquarters for primaries that never happened.  (I played field politics, I never waited for anyone to give me ticket), I would like you as the National leader to watch this video again! This part of the interview was so painfully appalling to watch. It looked as if you were insecure and in competition with your Presidential Candidate. Your first one on one interview after primaries and instead of selling your candidates and giving confidence to people on how set the road to winning the 2027 election was, you made it about yourself. With all due respect sir, it looks as if you consider the NDC a Special Purpose Vehicle whose aim has been achieved just by being registered instead of a Political Party whose aim is to win the 2027 General election decisively!!!! The registration of NDC should be a means to an end and not an end in itself. As a leader of a Political party, your number one job in that interview was to pacify aspirants many of whom are rightfully aggrieved and secondly to call on supporters to bear with the party and support it but you ended up antagonising the very people you would need to win election. Every vote counts! A leader must stoop to conquer! No one can take away your leadership of NDC, no one is interested in that! The focus is on Nigeria is winning the 2027 election! It looked as if you are fighting a war no one is waging with you. You don't have anything to prove to anyone, just lead! It is also interesting how as a leader i see you shifting the blame with any process that doesn't go well or is called out. Even in this statement below, you did! Take all responsibility! The party is young. It was overwhelmed. Mistakes will be made. Accepting the mistakes and being accountable is how the party will get better. There is a whole battle ahead of us. Rescuing Nigeria from the current state it is in, should be the main focus not people's fragile ego! Let me round up with some words from Jim Rohn: IF WHAT YOU DID YESTERDAY IS STILL LOOKING BIG TO YOU TODAY, THEN YOU ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH!!!
Henry Seriake Dickson@iamHSDickson

Last night, I had an interview with Arise TV, where I sympathised with our aspirants over some noticeable irregularities in our just-concluded primaries. I noted that, while not claiming that the exercise was perfect, I urged all of them to bear with the party in view of the circumstances we are managing, which have overwhelmed even bigger parties. This includes parties with a sitting President, 33 Governors, and control of political structures in most states, in the case of the APC, and even the ADC, which is over two years old. I made the case that we are just four months old and have been thrown into the middle of a very tight electoral timeframe, within which we had to carry out membership registration, congresses up to the national convention, primaries up to the national convention, appeal processes, and now the reconciliation phase. I identified the root cause of these challenges, my views on the Electoral Act have been clear: the APC-led majority were wrong in foisting compulsory direct primaries on political parties and the country. Complaints about irregularities in direct primaries are pervasive across all parties and are not peculiar to the NDC. As a matter of fact, considering the age of the NDC and the teeming number of aspirants we have had to manage, we have done quite well. For months since the formation of the NDC, I have been building confidence and receiving respected politicians into its fold. Since the primaries I have been attending to people and managing disagreements across the country on a daily basis. The NDC is on the ascendancy, and I thank Nigerians for their trust and confidence in our party. Even these challenges, which are not peculiar to us, will pass. I also noted that no party has announced any set of winners from its primaries, and neither has the NDC. The public should disregard any such claims in circulation, especially on social media, and await the party's formal submissions through the appropriate channels. The results of party primaries are not announced like school results; they are communicated through formal channels. I thank all our members for their abiding support. In anticipation of these challenges, the 2nd NEC meeting, held a few days ago, approved the composition of a Reconciliation Committee to work with state caucus leaders and other stakeholders in managing grievances. As I have stated before, this is our first set of primaries, and it will also be the last to be conducted manually. The next primaries will be technologically driven and will have none of these issues. I thank all supporters of our party, which has no government officials and is entirely self-funded. I appreciate their donations, contributions, and sacrifices made on behalf of the party. They remain valuable members of our party regardless of the outcome of the primaries. We are in this together, and we are all committed to ensuring the success of our party and our presidential team, their Excellencies Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who are my colleagues in this project. This success must be managed carefully, with everyone working together. I advise all members and supporters to avoid meaningless quarrels and infighting. Everyone should support our candidates, from the Presidency down to the least elective office. I urge all the stakeholders, caucus leaders and other leaders in various states who coordinated the primaries to take responsibility and step up their game in terms of coordiating the reconciliation process. Most of the candidates are persons backed and recommended by them, and not me nor the national leadership of the party. It is not a time to shift blames or dodge responsibilities. Since they midwifed and managed the process of the primaries, they should equally help in supporting the party in coordinating the reconciliation process, of which they have the support of the party. ~HSD

Don’t Disparage Me or My Party. If It’s Easy, Go and Form Your Own Party. You’re Not Doing NDC a Favor. NDC Is Doing You a Favor — Sen. Dickson Tells Obedients Former Bayelsa State Governor and Senator, Seriake Dickson, has pushed back against claims that supporters of Peter Obi are doing the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) a favor by backing the party’s presidential ticket. Speaking during an interview on Arise TV’s Prime Time Show, Dickson said the NDC existed and was attracting prominent politicians long before Obi and other opposition figures joined its platform. According to him, Obi and his running mate were offered the party’s presidential ticket without paying any money, stressing that the NDC leadership voluntarily opened its platform to them because it had confidence in their candidacy. Dickson rejected suggestions that the NDC needed Obi more than Obi needed the party, insisting that the narrative undermines the efforts of those who built the party from scratch. “There is no one doing NDC a favor,” he said. “Rather, the NDC and my colleagues are doing people a favor by granting our platform to them.” The senator also warned Obi’s supporters, popularly known as Obedients, against attacking the party or its leadership while claiming to support the former Anambra governor. “You cannot be supporting Peter Obi, if you are genuinely supporting him, and at the same time disparaging me, the leader, or the platform itself. That is nons£nsical,” Dickson stated. He further challenged critics who believe political party formation is easy, saying they should attempt to register and build their own party structures. “If it’s easy for people to form a party, go and form yours,” he said. Dickson maintained that the NDC had been receiving influential politicians from across the country months before Obi and other opposition figures joined, citing former governors and political heavyweights who had already aligned with the party. He urged supporters and political commentators to show greater respect for the platform, warning against narratives that portray the NDC as dependent on any single individual for relevance or survival.

I commend all our patriotic front-line soldiers in the fight against terrorism in all forms. You stand as a shield between innocent citizens and those who seek to destroy the peace, safety, and dignity of our communities. In the forests, on the roads, at forward operating bases, in the air, creeks, and across difficult terrains, you carry the burden of national protection so that millions of Nigerians can sleep, work, worship, farm, trade, and raise their children in hope. This fight has not been easy. It has come with pain, pressure, and sacrifice. But your courage has remained firm. Your service is acknowledged. Your sacrifice is honoured. Your country does not take you for granted. To every officer and soldier of our Armed Forces, to the Police, DSS, Civil Defence, intelligence services, local security formations, and all who work day and night to keep Nigeria safe, I say thank you. I also acknowledge the families behind the uniform. Many of you have endured long absences, anxious nights, and the emotional cost of duty. Nigeria remembers that sacrifice, too. We honour those who have paid the supreme price in defence of our country. Their names may not always trend, but their courage lives on in rescued communities, protected families, and the survival of the nation they served. The fight against terror is not only a military operation. It is a national duty. Citizens must support our security forces by providing timely, useful information. When you see something, say something. When you know something, report it. Nigeria will not surrender to fear. We will not allow terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, or violent extremists to define who we are as a people. Their violence is not our identity. Their hatred does not represent Nigerians of any faith, creed, or community. To our troops and all front-line patriots, thank you for your courage. Thank you for your vigilance. Thank you for your service. May the Almighty protect you as you protect our country. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria

Ogun State Police Command@OgunPoliceNG·
PRESS RELEASE OGUN POLICE DETECTIVES UNCOVER TRANSNATIONAL FAKE KIDNAPPING SYNDICATE, ARREST EIGHT FOREIGN NATIONALS OVER STAGED ABDUCTION AND RANSOM FRAUD Detectives attached to Ifo Division of the Ogun State Police Command, led by CSP Olabisi Kamorudeen, the Divisional Police Officer have uncovered a transnational criminal syndicate involved in a carefully coordinated fake kidnapping scheme designed to extort ransom from unsuspecting families abroad. The operation led to the arrest of eight foreign nationals, namely Zakaria Zawadogo ‘M’ aged 34yrs, Burkina Faso; Cheik El-Mehdi ‘M’ aged 23yrs, Mauritania; Suren Neta ‘F’ aged 25yrs, Ivory Coast; Koffi Breno ‘M’ aged 36yrs, Ivory Coast; Gondo Treso ‘M’ aged 32yrs, Ivory Coast; Kunuji Ezekiel ‘M’ aged 27yrs, Republic of Benin; Kougasi John ‘M’, Ivory Coast; and Hemue Blinsi ‘M’ aged 30yrs, Côte d’Ivoire. The suspects were arrested during an intelligence-led operation in Adiyan Town, Agbado Area of Ogun State following credible intelligence and sustained surveillance into a reported kidnapping incident that was later uncovered to be a staged abduction. The breakthrough followed a report received on June 6, 2026, from a concerned informant, who alerted the Police that a 23-year-old Mauritanian national, Cheik El-Mehdi, had contacted his family abroad in May 2026 claiming he had been kidnapped in Nigeria and demanding ransom for his release. Shortly after, another suspect, Zakaria Zawadogo, reinforced the demand with threats that the victim would be killed if the ransom was not paid. Upon receipt of the complaint, detectives of Ifo Division immediately activated intelligence-driven investigation. This swift response proved decisive in uncovering the location of the suspects and preventing what could have resulted in a successful cross-border financial crime. The technical intelligence report revealed that the suspects were operating from a hideout in Adiyan Town, Agbado Area of Ogun State. Acting on this intelligence, operatives were swiftly mobilized to the location where Zakaria Zawadogo was arrested. He subsequently led detectives to the syndicate’s hideout, resulting in the arrest of Cheik El-Mehdi, Suren Neta, and five other foreign nationals. All suspects were taken into custody, while the premises were secured and thoroughly searched in line with due process. Preliminary findings revealed that the operation was a coordinated criminal enterprise involving the deliberate staging of a kidnapping scenario to defraud the victim’s family. It was further established that Suren Neta lured Cheik El-Mehdi into Nigeria, while Zakaria Zawadogo coordinated the ransom demands and issued threats to compel payment. The purported victim was also found to have actively participated in the orchestration of the fake abduction. The principal suspects, Zakaria Zawadogo, Cheik El-Mehdi, and Suren Neta, have all confessed to their involvement in the conspiracy, while further investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the syndicate’s operations and possible links to other transnational criminal networks. The case has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet and further investigation. The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, commends the professionalism, discipline, and swift response of the detectives under CSP Olabisi Kamorudeen, whose intelligence-led action exposed and dismantled the criminal scheme. The CP notes that the case highlights the increasing sophistication of transnational criminal activities and reaffirms the Command’s commitment to proactive policing, intelligence gathering, and sustained operations against organized crime. He reassures members of the public that Ogun State remains a hostile environment for criminal elements and that the Command will continue to strengthen internal and cross-border collaboration to ensure public safety.

Pastor Adeboye emptied the infrastructures of their fellowships in the North East campuses into the IDPs in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa. When we got to Borno in 2017, we met empty spaces. I wrote a letter to him from Maiduguri, I told him all we needed, running into millions of naira. He sent the money to us. Everything I wrote in the letter was sent. I would write to him every quarter giving him update about all of us in the fellowship and request additional money. He will still send it.😅 I coordinated one of his largest intervention program in Maiduguri. A training and certification course for students in Architecture, Urban planning etc… thousands of students from Ramat Polytechnic, University of Maiduguri etc… it was one of his programs to uplift a society battered by insurgencies and the economy of the state crashed. A program meant to give a future to them by upgrading their skillset. His greatest strength of not showing off is the reason many people, even his church members do not know 2% of his works.

In 1993, majority of the Senators wanted Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be the Senate President. Jagaban was already cruising to victory. However, this would affect MKO Abiola because they both came from the SW. Abiola wanted to run for President of Nigeria and the best option for Tinubu was to support Abiola's rival Kingibe in the primary election, Kingibe a northerner from the NE would be the political answer to Tinubu’s Senate Presidency. But Tinubu chose to back MKO Abiola and jettison his own ambition so that he would not be the hindrance to Abiola's ambition which was of larger value. Therefore, Tinubu stepped down from running just like he did for Buhari in 2014-2015 and also for Osinbajo thereafter. It is always easy for Tinubu to sacrifice his personal ambition for the larger group ambition. In 1993, Tinubu became Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation and Finance. He supported Abiola to victory. Abiola won and when Abiola's election was annulled by the Military, Tinubu stood firm till the end! He also ensured that the government he helped to install many years after immortalised Abiola and June 12! In 2014, Tinubu repeated same, this time around for Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari had given up openly on politics, having wept before the cameras because of the frustration he got from multiple electoral defeats. Tinubu travelled from Lagos to Kaduna to meet Buhari and both formed alliance. That alliance saw Tinubu, the strongest politician and tactician in the alliance sacrificed all his numerous personal ambitions and gave Buhari, APC his EVERYTHING. That sacrifice almost ended his political career but JAGABAN is a man of strength, faith and conviction. When everyone in the political cycle was looking at him as a goner, he was starring Victory in its face. Tinubu’s eyes dont see defeat, never! Now, a thrift that Tinubu made in 1993 was collected with interest by him in 2023 when Gbajabiamila also decided to jettison his own speakership for Tinubu’s Presidency. Lawan, a northerner from the NE would have been his bet had it been that Gbajabiamila is a selfish politician. But as a son of the JAGABAN, he cannot behave less. He acted exactly like his political father. The hallmark of party politics is SACRIFICE, and this is exactly what is lacking among the politicians today. They want to be like TINUBU but they hate to sacrifice their ambitions for the time being! Copied..

The absolute audacity of the Buhari administration's top officials nearly brought Nigeria to its knees. Look at how they allegedly shared the country's wealth: ✅Power (Saleh Mamman): Pocketed ₦33.8B meant to fix our electricity (Mambilla/Zungeru). ✅Humanitarian (Sadiya Farouq): Stole ₦37.1B and $1.3M meant for vulnerable and poor citizens. ✅Aviation (Hadi Sirika): Blew ₦19.4B on contract fraud and the Nigeria Air charade. ✅Justice (Abubakar Malami): Amassed 57 luxury properties linked to ₦213.2B, plus a ₦8.7B laundering case. ✅CBN (Godwin Emefiele): Tanked the economy with $4.5B and ₦2.8B fraud, forgery, and rogue naira printing. The greed was generational.

This past summer I was in Nigeria for over two months. I was based in Festac and I traveled all over Lagos mainland, the island, Badagry etc. Went to Ibadan, then Abuja, then Benin City. I would say Nigeria has a huge problem with shared spaces. Every Nigerian home or business I visited was spotless, they seemed obsessed with personal cleanliness and the standard was high. My brother's apartment was a thing of beauty, everything you wanted was in there and the family kept it spotless. But everywhere I went, outside was pure filth, overflowing gutters, broken sewage systems, broken roads that looked like a mad man had taken a jackhammer to them (the main roads are shabby but passable, once you veer onto the side roads, you are on your own. Of all the places I visited, Lagos was the filthiest, I have videos, lol. I would be embarrassed to invite a visitor to Lagos, the place reeks of filth and neglect, smh. Benin City was similarly filthy, broken and overpopulated. As much as we give Tinubu and the federal government a hard time, there is little evidence of state and local government in these places. These are municipal government issues, not the federal government's. Badagry was tired and filthy, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Abuja was a mess, with cattle jostling with garbage for attention. Why are we like this? Now, Ibadan was impressive, clean roads, clean neighborhoods, there was clear evidence that there is a government that cares. I don't know what they are doing different in Ibadan o, these other states should go study it. I enjoyed visiting Ibadan. I saw Amotekun at work (it's still inchoate but hey...), and I saw glimpses of how life would be with a robust state and local police.

Most of the topics, sermons, statements, and even program themes I’ve been seeing from some of these big churches are psychologically constructed to make Nigerians emotionally withdraw from voting and accepting change as impossible. Some weeks ago, it was Pastor Adeboye telling people that the next president has already been chosen by God. Now it is Matthew Ashimolowo saying Peter Obi is the best candidate, but he won’t win. Then another popular Lagos church is running with a program theme talking about “Jesus being the best political cover.” And there are many more subtle messages like that flying around. This is becoming too coordinated to be random. The timing. The location. The pastors involved. The exact emotional direction of the messaging. This is psychological manipulation, and many Nigerians are not catching it. Because APC knows something very important. They know they no longer have anything tangible to sell Nigerians again. Fuel is expensive. Food is expensive. Electricity is expensive. School fees are expensive. Businesses are collapsing. The naira has been battered. People are suffering visibly. So what do you do when performance can no longer convince the people? You start targeting their psychology. You start targeting hope. You start targeting morale. You start making people feel like resistance is pointless. That is the new strategy. And religion is one of the easiest vehicles to use because many Nigerians trust pastors more than they trust facts. Notice the pattern carefully. These pastors will subtly admit that Peter Obi or the Obi/Kwankwaso movement represents competence or better leadership, but immediately after saying that, they will emotionally conclude with: “But he cannot win.” “God has already chosen.” “Jesus is the answer.” “Focus on heaven.” Do you people not see the psychological game being played there? It is not direct support for APC. It is emotional demobilization. It is convincing Nigerians not to bother participating. It is making people subconsciously feel their votes do not matter. Because once people lose hope psychologically, the battle is already halfway won politically. And sadly, many of these pastors know exactly what they are doing because they understand how emotionally dependent many Nigerians are on religious authority. They know many church members will never question anything coming from the altar. That is why you must use your brain this period. God is supreme. Jesus is King. Nobody is arguing that. But God has also given human beings free will. The same Bible is full of people making choices and living with the consequences of those choices. Nigeria today is the result of choices. Bad leadership is the result of choices. Corruption is the result of choices. Silence is the result of choices. And better leadership will also come from choices. God will not come down from heaven to thumbprint ballot papers. Nigerians will. So when someone tells you “the next president has already been chosen,” ask yourself: Why then are politicians campaigning? Why are billions being spent on elections? Why are parties fighting desperately for power? Why are propaganda machines working overtime? Why are pastors suddenly sounding like political analysts? Because they know votes matter. And they know people matter. That is why APC and its supporters are now focusing heavily on psychological warfare. They know they cannot easily defend the suffering Nigerians are facing. So the next best thing is to make Nigerians mentally surrender before 2027 even arrives. That is why you must stay alert. Pray, yes. Trust God, yes. But also think critically. Because faith without wisdom is how manipulators control people.

I have come to realize that Late President Muhammadu Buhari genuinely intended to benefit the people of Nigeria. However, the individuals he entrusted with this responsibility, such as Malami, Sadiya Umar Faruk, and many others, betrayed him. He implemented numerous schemes and provided free interest loans to Nigerian Farmers with the aim of making it a productive country. Unfortunately, these efforts failed him due to his nonchalant attitude of not following up on projects and his ability of not untrusting in the people he had entrusted before. In contrast, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu takes the opposite approach by following up all his policies. May his soul rest in Jannatul Firdausi, but he was undoubtedly one of our finest leaders. However, the timing of his election as a Democratic President was not appropriate, because it came as a challenge to him.
