My time at Oshkosh has taught me some things. 1. Police presence is incredibly limited probably due to the demographic that attends. 2. Warbird people LOVE teaching people about the history of their aircraft 3. Aviation is a tight community. 4. Military public affairs are inherently scared to let crew talk to anyone they haven’t personally verified. 5. The event is so huge it dwarfs every motorcycle rally I have ever seen. 6. You could attend the whole week for several years and still not see everything. 7. You could make insane amounts of money by opening a “bikini plane wash”
