@NCloutierTVA Faut pas qu’il soit ridicule non plus, il aurait du lancer

Skafkovsky a tout fait pour trouver Caufield là-dessus.
Les compagnons de trio du #13 très investis dans la chasse au 50e.

@EricEngels Thats a lot of words to say he doesnt understand the issue…

NHL DoPS head George Parros responding to Connor McDavid's call for an examination of the suspension process: “We sweat over these decisions and pour over these decisions every night, all season long. We have a process in place that’s consistent, and we have a team that works for me, and together with me, that evaluates all these plays. A very experienced team, a veteran team. Guys that have been there since the beginning of the department. Not to mention all the former players that have a large set of experiences playing NHL games, accolades. Some of the best guys that have played the game work for this department help make decisions. So, our process, I feel very confident in. We’ve got great guys who make these decisions, and I think the players should be confident in this team to do so.”

@ISU_Speed Show more dutch content please we cant get enough. We dont want to see the comraderie within the other teams, that would be gross…
English

They’re not just fast… they’re funny too. 😉
Keeping it light with Team Netherlands. 🇳🇱

@ISU_Speed As always the ISU can’t get enough of showing the Dutch. They would never show 2 canadians in the streets of Dordrecht for the world champs there. Why do they show 2 dutches in the streets of Montreal for the world champs there? ( and claiming that they own the city!!!)
English

They don’t just race on ice. 😎
They own the moment, the speed, and the city around them. 👊

@Devin_Heroux Great news. Was he still coaching in Norway? I ran across him at the world cup in Quebec city a few years ago. I called him by his name and he looked surprised to be recognized

@CanadiensMTL You messed up the medal color for most shorttrackers

Un accueil chaleureux pour les athlètes olympiques canadiens! 🇨🇦
A warm welcome for Canada’s Olympians!

@JacobPacheco6 Wow, and they were THE team that exceeded expectations. The fact that they didnt have a camp before the games makes their performances even more spectacular

Another tough report coming out of the Canadian Olympic Committee:
Chief Sport Officer Eric Myles revealed that Canada’s Men’s 4x7.5km Cross-Country Relay team - who finished fifth - were unable to hold pre-Olympic training camps due to budget constraints. Oh boy. #TeamCanada🇨🇦

Ok now I want all Habs fans to breathe deeply when I say this…
Would Tom Wilson not be… the exact missing piece we’d need on our top 6 to be impactful in the playoffs?
Personally, I hope Agent Nick did some recruiting.

@EvanDunfee @mattsekeres I’m sure im not the only one disappointed by some results, but knowing that the athletes are not at fault, but the system is. You’re good to highlight the xcountry teams performances. They were absolutely sensational.
English

Our XC skiers had many big races coming in dozens of spots higher than their rankings! Great result considering how much they get outspent on wax trucks which make a huge difference sadly.
Same with sliding sports. Can’t compete when we are literally buying the top team’s hand-me-down sleds.
Sadly core funding for the programs is needed for these sports, that’s part of the problem with winter sports… they’re expensive. And that’s before we start talking about the funding for athletes that keeps talent in the sport long enough to develop and reach their peak.
All that is to say, it’s better to focus on the athletes themselves than their results. Each and every one of them has the power to be inspiring. While BC may not have produced any medals, you can be sure that athletes from across this province will be going home to their local communities, maybe their former schools, and sharing their story, their passion, with a new generation who can dare to dream big. And I think that’s awesome (I also think that that sort of community volunteering should be a mandatory component of any sort of funding we get, but different this tweet is long enough already!)
English

Disappointing performance from the 🇨🇦 Olympic team.
Shutout in Alpine, X-Country, sliding. Only one medal in Figure Skating, Snowboarding.
BC (no individual medallist), Alberta (1) and GTA (1) don't pull weight. French Canada (Ottawa to Moncton) saves Canadian 🥓 on medal table

Final medal count for Team Canada. 🇨🇦 Proud until the very last moment. ❤️

@BPMSportsRadio Vous faites dur.

@JacobPacheco6 We should aim for 10 medals in short track, 10 in longtrack, 10 in freestyle skiing and 6 in snowboard. That would be bring us back on top. However 4 years is too short… in 8 years we should see the results if we start investing wisely now
English

@JacobPacheco6 My answer is based on the fact that funding is very low. So: out the expensive sports: sliding and alpine skiing. Out biathlon. focus on speedskating ( long and short), freestyle skiing and snowboard. We’re too strong in these sports to not top the medal standings. Need more $$
English

f you could choose one or two Winter Olympic sports in Canada to invest funding for in 2030 and beyond, which would you pick - and why?
Hypothetically speaking, of course. Let’s hear it. #MilanoCortina2026 #TeamCanada
English

@JacobPacheco6 Also lets not act as if it is happening for the first time. In 2014 Charles Hamelin was the face of the games, expected to win 4 medals. He won his first event then everything went downhill afterwards
English

I refuse to believe after all the success the Ice Maples had throughout the year on the ISU Tour that these were the results at these Olympics.
If not for 🇨🇦Courtney Sarault and her FOUR Medals this would've been a cataclysm disaster. It hurts, man... #MilanoCortina2026
English

@JacobPacheco6 I’s been very disappointing. From my non-expert eye that has been following this sports forever, it looked as if the guys lacked general awareness of whats around. Also bad decisions fuelled by impatience. Its as if they were not themselves anymore. It will need to be analyzed
English

@keesdvdv The dutch have been good in short track for many years.
English

I have to say i’m very disappointed by our short track team at the Olympics. From going 6-4-0 at last world champs to 1-2-2 at the Olympics is quite the downfall. I did not expect to go 6-4-0 again, but 3-3-2 would have been awesome #shorttrack
English

@Devin_Heroux Man they must be all so disappointed. Apart from Courtney and Steven’s gold its been a very tough olympics
