I don't think people have deeped how bad our squad building has been. Yes, we look good on paper but it's a very incoherent mix of profiles. Sesko, a physically dominant striker, is paired with wingers who are more goal- than creation-oriented. One of them isn't even a winger in the first place and is more of a second striker who cannot provide width to stretch low blocks. We've consistently bought 3 young, inexperienced strikers in a row and asked them to put the club on their backs with no support. One of our new LBs plays better as a LW and the other is a kid not good enough for the 1st team. We've not recruited properly in midfield for years and we lose everytime we play our newest midfield signing. Two of our new CBs are young nervous wrecks and the older ones cannot stay fit to save their lives. No one understands what our 2nd choice RB actually does. Our 1st choice GK is quite young and new and the 2nd choice is so bad no one would let him near the pitch.
