Why does it feel like the so much of the CT fandom is consistently trying to prove an alternative narrative to what's in the games and film?
Almost every argument is based upon counterfactuals.
I don't see that among the #Clerith fandom; not anywhere near to the same degree.

There is a massive cultural gap for sure, but that in my eyes makes this even worse.
It just displays how closed-minded people can be to anything that isn't perceived as "normal" for them.
It's a shame that the culture of "cuteness" that is very much apparent in Japan is basically non-existent in the West.
Imagine being in a relationship without any play, and 24/7 stiffness and seriousness...yeah I'm out lol

Why do people act like they don’t mess around with the “baby voice” during pillow talk with their significant other?
These takes can’t be real, acting as if there are no teasing or playful interactions in a relationship.
Denial to genuine communication between two people who actually are themselves and don't put on masks or a front because it’s “childish.”

All of them are, I think, because without them, character relationships don't make sense in Rebirth - like how Tifa and Cloud can express worries to each other openly. There is no reason for me to believe they aren't, because all could have happened at some point

Tifa was never a second option. Always was the first since Cloud was a kid until AC. Aerith never was the second option neither. Now with Rebirth we know what answer gives Cloud to her when she open her feelings and she knew it, but had to try it.

@RadiantAntiHero Real: Cloud and Aerith only exists along he pretends he is Zack. When finnaly he finds out your "yourself", the feelings are gone between than. Only stays the sorrow, guilt, and depreesive feelings for not be able to save her. Besides it, he refind your love in Tifa.

Everyone’s talking about how hard it will be to implement the Highwind into the game but the real challenge in part 3 will be making a Tifa route that doesn’t feel like a second option.

This is our boys. Son 1 takes some coaxing but he's really good with routines, so he just kinda does it. Son 2 has an existential crisis every day. "WHY do we have to go to school EVERY day? Every day is the same. It's not FAIR."

Today, I watch our government starve Afghan families and facilitate the slaughter of children in Yemen and I believe stopping THAT should be a priority.
