What could he have possibly written on that note? They need 6 goals with 6 minutes left to play

Remember: Starmer isn't someone who claims this kind of thing is an inevitable & natural part of the rough-&-tumble of politics, political games one should not take too seriously or literally. He's someone who claimed others who did lesser versions of this were contemptible.
(((Dan Hodges)))@DPJHodges

This is, by some distance, the most contemptible performance I’ve seen from a sitting Prime Minister at PMQs. Quite staggering to think Starmer once posed as the man who would restore faith in the conduct of our elected officials.

To claim others don’t know what they’re talking about then post content of such stupefying ignorance as this really takes a helluva a brass neck. 👇

@ZiaYusufUK @ClaireCoutinho We need our own energy. That means wind & solar. People who say North Sea don’t know what they’re talking about. We can’t drill there. We’re not Norway. We can only allow companies to drill there. And they send to refineries then sell onto global markets. No use to us.

"Yes my outfit spent years normalising shoplifting but now it has consequences I think the people who opposed it should be help responsible for not doing enough to stop me." The arsonist whose defence is that the fire service should have arrived in time to stop him.

Bastani is best thought of as an addict in the grip of habitual sin: intelligent enough to understand that much of his worldview until this point is harmful, indefensible, and so on; but so still trapped in that habitual sin that on occasion he can't help relapse into it
Aaron Bastani@AaronBastani

2 Coops near us close. Why? Industrial scale shoplifting by large groups of people in halfway houses nearby. Their ‘treatment’ fails them. Now business & jobs are gone too. But the Telegraph editor is writing about… saving US empire. Why Hannah Spencer won in Gorton folks…!

@ChrisHopkins92 I think the perfect response to this is to run a poll asking 'is raising council tax by less than they could the same as cutting tax' Because I can't help think the whole yougov thing was an attack to move on from those ridiculous comments.

In many respects, Farage's attack on YouGov is an attack on us all. Methodological differences and innovation should be a core part of the industry. Savanta were grateful for the support of peers when subject to similar attacks in 2024, and we should stand together again.
