I don’t have a reason to be a part of this, & my two cents isn’t a valid currency, as I don’t grade cards & probably NEVER will.
But nearly 6 months turnaround time seems like an eternity in the ever changing sports card world, does it not ?
As I said, just an observer here. 🤷♂️

People just be grading everything these days. 140-160 is unreal. @CardPurchaser

@TheTimRogers @CardPurchaser The obsession with grading and PSA specifically has reached unhealthy levels lol

Make raw cards great again. We can't allow PSA to have a stranglehold on the entire collecting industry. @CardPurchaser

@KenChessRapper @Hobby_News_Plus @PSAcard The mass exodus away from PSA to other grading companies is already happening. Just look at TAG. Saw a 471% boost in submissions. PSA will lose a ton once people start realizing and accepting that other companies are as good if not better.
English

@JkChi28 @Hobby_News_Plus @PSAcard Yeah, on a long enough timescale they're cooked unless every challenger sells out to them before they take the market away.
English

Imagine paying at least $25 per card for grading, having to submit at least 50 cards to get that price, waiting roughly 7 months to get your cards back, getting wildly inconsistent grades, horrible customer support, and then being told the card you submitted can't be worth more than $500 in a PSA 10 — or you get hit with an upcharge?
No, thank you.

@PSAcard @CardPurchaser @E_S_Collectible Great work on legitimately forcing your customers to smarten up and choose better grading companies based on your absurd practices. Well done 👏🏻
English

@E_S_Collectible The minimum card requirement for Value Bulk submissions will increase to 50 cards on May 18, 2026.

@StevenxTCG The exodus away from PSA and on to other grading companies has begun. And it’s glorious.

@_bismack_ Especially in the sports world, having a grade take months can cost a ton in missed profit if a player loses popularity, gets injured, season ends etc. and hell if I’m paying the absurd up charge for faster processing. Just isn’t worth it
English

Genuine question for the folks that grade as a side hustle: Regardless of sumbission price, does it even make sense to have inventory sitting at PSA for this long?
Wouldn't churning the raw singles themselves make more sense at this point?
Garv 🪐@GarvInvests
7-8 month turnaround for value bulk 😂
English

would you do me a favor and post how many cards/ subs you have at TAG
JK@JkChi28
@PokeTeeJay Never again @PSAcard. They are single handedly shifting the grading business to other companies like TAG who are now booming. Thats what happens when people get fed up with horrible value and practices

Five *months* is just an estimated timeframe, jeez 🤯
Scruffy@scruffycitytv
120 business days from today is October 29th.
English

@gurucollects They need to create a service that is more accurate and consistent, gives value to a customer and not charging ridiculous prices for turnaround times that are absurd. I hope for the hobbies sake they are able to do this.

PSA just announced a $200M+ investment to scale grading as submissions continue to explode 📈
Submissions have exploded to 19M+ annually, so PSA is planning to:
➡️ Expand globally
➡️ Upgrade tech + tracking
➡️ Hire 1,000 new employees
Turnaround times, pricing, and submission requirements are all shifting.
What do you think this means for the hobby long-term? 👇

@cryptodylnews She’s the Karen final boss. Does nothing but nag and spout verbal vomit that has other senators scratching their heads, proving her ignorance in the space.
