This is basically pro hockey now so let’s make these kids sign 1,2,3 or 4 year deals and the only out clauses are signing an actual pro contract or not playing in 50% of the teams games the previous year (not barring injury). Mutual termination can also be a factor. That way teams and players can both enter in with an expectation of what they are exactly signing up for. You develop some “project” into a player and how does he repay you? He turns around, leaves that mid major school, goes to the BIG10 and says lick my nuts. What a system. So dumb.
