Minneapolis City Council passed a data center moratorium by an 8-5 vote. The moratorium has exceptions for downtown data centers under 350k sq ft. This 2x the size of the much talked about Sleep Number data center. 8 votes is not enough to override if Mayor Frey chooses to veto.
