@jjuukoa I agree. The same discomfort I felt about Christopher Onyum's trial. If the president can order the judiciary to fast-track his trial, he can call for an opposition leader's trial. If the CDF can oversee Among's purge, he can as easily command a raid on the Daily Monitor.

I am no fan of Anita Among and her primitive accumulation of wealth. However, something about her downfall is worrying-the selective application of the law, the forced stepping down, the army/CDF in politics, the anointment of a successor Speaker, and the public humiliation!

@NewmanDixon1 Karibuni Entebbe. It's the most patient bird in the world, it can be one position for 3 to 5 hours waiting for something to eat with out making any movements. It lays only 1-3 eggs, but it makes sure one chick survives. Which means one chick has to eat the others for survival.

I have a theory. The regime had been tired of Anita Annet Among long before this year. She was accumulating too much wealth, too much power, and too much respect inside the NRM structures. She looked too ambitious, and that is one thing you do not want to be with this regime. These people prefer you quiet, predictable, and busy minding your own corner. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi is the model. He sat in that same chair for ten years and nobody outside Uganda knew his name. 1/7

@MusiimentaScov7 Nature reminds us to slow down. We are currently in a fast world that is constantly pushing us to convenience. We have lost the true meaning of being human. Going back to nature is a kind reminder of our true being.

This year, we have truly been uniting for good, and our partnership with @Heifer_Uganda is a reminder that lasting impact happens when organisations come together with one purpose: transforming lives. When we empower mothers, support farmers, and fight hunger, we uplift entire communities. At the end of the day, we want people to say @Rotary and @Heifer were here, and lives changed for the better. #RotaryEyamba

.@rkabushenga: "One of the things I don't do with my coffee is blend it with any other, because it dilutes it. Let's start selling-by-origin. In 1975, Uganda made 1.5 BN USD from Bugisu Arabica coffee. How do we go back to that glory?" #NBSUpdates #UgandaDirectCoffee

Yesterday, I escorted the girls to school. The school is nearby and they go cycling. In our Uganda a child lives in nansana goes to school at Kabojja in Kololo. That same child can’t commute by themselves. If they come cycling, they’ll be laughed at.

Behind every strong family is a mother whose love never clocks out. Today, I celebrate the women who carry so much with grace, nurture with patience, and still find the strength to serve others and uplift communities. Mothers are the heartbeat of our homes and the quiet strength behind so much good in the world. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there. #RotaryEyamba

LUGANDA I guess Andrew Kabuura concluded the depart about Luganda becoming a national language. Heard his concluding remarks last night though I don’t watch football but watched his remarks. Please don’t try to fight with me over this!
