Thanks to Jacob for a tour of the net-zero wastewater treatment facility of @CityofGresham. Through biogas, solar panels, and more they are able to generate as much energy as they use to clean water, one of the few plants in the country to do so. Content coming on @thewaterloop.

I can't extend my legs under my desk because there's a big B&W subwoofer under there, hooked up to nothing. Why don't I get rid of it? Long ago, a nerdy salesman at an audio store told me, "Well, there's information down there." The comment has haunted me ever since.

Had a blast lecturing on all things #waterreuse at @StanfordLaw's "Business of Water" course, an interdisciplinary blend of law, business, and engineering students. Key takeaway — when it comes to addressing #climatecrisis, we have the technologies, we just need to deploy them!

@lehnerjw Numbers now a bit dates, but I would commend to you Growing Up Washington County. Big report commissioned a few yrs ago by Clean Water Services and others. Housing costs were a top concern.

Talking Washington County and housing this week. Even in one of our most prosperous counties, too many struggle with housing costs. (One benefit to doing statewide microdata work is it’s easy to pull out regional pieces as needed)
